That depends on the size of the fly and the amount of force required to kill it. If the fly is your "average" house fly, the answer is no; if it is a "jarasic park" size fly, you should reconsider swating it at all, retreat from the room, and simply let it have the sandwitch.
Because they're so bad, I'm guessing China. There's also no indication of where it was made. br>I'd never buy them again if I could.
I was under the impression that it meant 30 inches in length, but I simply measured it. It only measures 21 inches in length. As a result, I have no idea what it could possibly mean!

You can straighten the aluminum wire used as a handle with just one good swat at a fly. Steel wire or a much thicker gauge of aluminum are the best options. br>There is an excessive amount of space between the swatter ends. Small bugs are handled far better by the pink one, our steel-handled dependable killer. Look for a better-made and-designed product somewhere else. br>br>.
About two weeks ago, I purchased a six-pack of these fly swatters. The first one's plastic was ripped to shreds, and a second one is beginning to crack as well. I've had a regular cheap Eno for at least ten years and wanted to put these on the porches. The Eno is longer as well, but has a smaller head, so these aren't particularly long in my opinion. I frequently make hard swipes against porch railings, and my style may be more aggressive than yours - However, you should be aware.

Put a tape measure on any number of swatters you have and they'll all come out to 20. 5”. br>br>Is there a difference between quality and quantity? The wire handles would fail Walmart quality control and need to be straightened on a regular basis, and the plastic swatter holes are too big for even common house flies. There's nothing to like about it. Pass.
It had already broken after being swatted four times.
The wire is made of extremely soft, low-cost junk metal. Swinging it causes it to bend.
My wife thinks it's a little strange that I'm doing this. I despise flies, though! Our fly swatters have vanished over the years (I believe the flies have taken them). Even when we had swatters, we kept them in a different room than the fly. The fly had been hidden by the time I found the swatter, only to reappear in a different room. They're cunning little rascals. But now I have a total of six swatters! They're strewn about the house, in strategic locations, ready to use at a moment's notice, and they come in a rainbow of colors. br>br>There isn't a single fly that isn't at risk!.
It's amazing how much a flyswatter can cost, but these are exactly the ones I was looking for! I'm glad I took a chance on them because I didn't require them right away.
Who'd have guessed it's possible to buy a fly Swatter that doesn't work? I believe the design does not allow enough air to pass through because the fly is warned ahead of time that it will be struck by the air current sent in front of the swatter. br>br>I need to purchase the original non-plastic old wire design that fools the fly that I purchased 50 years ago!.
