In order to create a fire pit of 37" in diameter, each ring requires 12 paver pavers of 12". In order to install three layers of pavers, 36 pavers are required. There is 33" of space outside this fire pit, so you might just need one or two.
You wouldn't want to set the coals directly on top of the stone. It can tolerate very high fire temperatures, but I wouldn't recommend A few days will be enough for the paint to wear off. After spraying the factory coat two times with high heat, I dried the surfaces. The process will probably last a long time.

Before I purchased this, I read all the reviews and understood why people were concerned that it would rust. In the process of building the fire pit, I left the fire ring outside I noticed that there was some rust on the screws by noon due to the heavy mist the next day. It was coated with rustoleum high temp paint (BBQ pit paint) before I inserted it into the pit. In any case, I know it will be necessary to do this on occasion just for regular maintenance during I found it to be satisfactory in general. It can easily be erected and looks nice when placed in a The bricks surrounding the ring were still cool to the touch after having been in the fire for three hours. As soon as I discover an issue within the next year, I will update this.
The ring I'm wearing feels and looks much better and is slightly cheaper compared to the one they sell at big-box hardware stores. The price is much lower, however. The price is about 50% less than what I had been paying, so in reality this is not that bad. The steel on this is just very thin and flimsy feeling, so I'm confident that I'll get only two or three seasons' use out of it before it rusts through. You need eight bolts and nuts to assemble it. The assembly comes in four parts and comes in four pieces. Simply put, it's easy. In terms of aesthetics, the top of the ring has some noticeable gaps in it, so it does give off a cheap look. As an added bonus, I live in a humid location, so I will not get much life out of this thing when I'm heating it up, cooling it down, and mixing in If you expose the metal to high heat, the surface coating will come off, which will eventually lead to rust. Even with regular derustings and resprayings, the thinness of the coating is going to cause it to rust completely through in not time. Although the price is reasonable, it is still a nice benefit. It is literally possible for me to purchase two or three of these for the cost of one more expensive ring. I'm guessing this is the option that's better because of those reasons. It will be interesting to see what happens. The following is an update It appears that this ring is only available for $150 from a 3rd party seller at the time. Such a price for this item would be too much for me. No matter what. The cost was There were enough funds to last me for 60 days with $60. If you are purchasing this item, please keep that in mind. Currently the $150 price point is not the subject of my review. I would recommend shopping at a retail store because they have better options for the same or less money*sob*sob *update After using it 3 times, I just brought it in and realized that quite a bit of rust was already bleeding through the inner The thing isn't going to last for.
We were able to have a reasonable price since they are hard to find currently because everybody is doing stuff around the house due to the cold. There were 10 bolts and nuts and two extras in the package. The ring arrived very fast and was packaged nicely with foam between the 4 pieces. As there are flanges on each piece, mine lined up perfectly, I nailed the nut on the outside, and the top rim looks really great. I did have to adjust the blocks out slightly, but I've had the pit for about a year. I'll have to see how it holds up in the next snow, but this ring looks like a strong winner. Once the snow falls, I'll likely put it in the shed, since it's lightweight and sturdy. The fireside is the best place to sit at night, nothing better.
According to a very informative website I was checking out, it was one of the better choices among the less expensive options. It was decided that I do not need a super-computer A thick ring, as this one will likely last me longer regardless of how thick. The process of putting the scene together went smoothly and quickly Though I did replace the stock screws with some nice stainless ones because I already had them in the shop, I didn't have to do anything. I've built a fire pit out of concrete pavers surrounded by this ring, and it's working great so far. Totally satisfied with the product, and looks forward to getting the grate which sits on top of it so we can grill on it. I highly recommend this product!.
The product consists of four sections with bolts to connect them. It is disappointing to see the gaps that are apparent from the pictures between the different products, causing an unfinished look because the gaps create an unfinished look. It comes together better in one section than the other. From the pictures, you can also see that the paint scratches off with a minimal amount of My fingers are crossed that I'll be able to rewrite it Painting the entire thing right after installation is my first step.
All of the pieces had bent corners from the packaging not being enough to protect them. Prior to assembling the pieces, I had to flatten them. It was not sufficiently substantial and the packing material was not sufficiently thick. I thought it to be a light weight flimsy ring as the steel is thin and not as heavy duty thick Also, in order to assemble the pieces to 33 inches wide, the joints are too visible when they are glued together. The steel does not feel heavy or sturdy in any way. You should look for another manufacturer or brand if you are looking for a sturdy/heavy duty steel ring, which I am doing as I type. The product should be made in the United States.
So far, it has worked well. I liked how well it fit my existing concrete paver firepit. It adds a nice finishing touch. My expectations were far exceeded by the strength of this item. Using an old hole saw, I cut holes in the inner wall of the liner and used it as the inner liner of a "smokeless" fire pit.
As a fire pit ring, this was just what I needed to complete it. However, the first storm that we had caused it to rust. No matter what high temperature "finish" it has, it will probably not stand up to Besides stripping it, I will get it powder coated to make sure it will last outside in the.
