In general, I wouldn't say mine would change size I'd say it would remain the same

Fire rings such as this one rust out very quickly as they are made of flimsy metal. It appears that nearly all of the mesh making up the ember containment system has rusted and fallen apart. There's nothing positive to say about this product and I wouldn't recommend it in the least.
The good news is that by using a bag of marble chips and a few bricks I had leftover from a redo of a step, you can transform it into something even more beautiful.
I used it for my fire pit and was satisfied with its performance. There is no way to predict how fast this will rust, but given the price point, this is to be expected. It'll only take a little bit of paint to cover it.
Since my son wanted to have a cookout for his graduation party, I purchased this from Amazon. I received many compliments on the firepit from guests who wanted to know where I purchased I loved the way it kept everything contained and was so easy to put together.
