The cover seems to be a few inches short at the bottom. Is this normal?

As far as my cover is concerned, I've never had this problem. As it turns out, I have a few extra inches to my advantage.

Is 24 months of use the same as a year of Is this a short-life part intended to last two years before it breaks down or needs ?

It fits nicely over the heater and matches what I wrote in my review. However, given the price, it appears to be flimsy, given the material. We will see how long it lasts.

For a cover, it's not too bad

The material is very thin, and despite keeping most of the water off of my heater, it seems to do the job. Moreover, there is a drawstring at the bottom that doesn't seem to help keep the cover on at all and actually makes putting it on much more difficult. Although it zips all the way up, it does not sling easily by itself around the top of the heater. With the drawstring attached, you will either have to remove the slider completely or get on a ladder to loop the bottom of the cover around the Typically, this heater cover fits well and if anything, if anything is a little large, making it looser and providing more surface area for wind to catch and topple the heater. For this reason, I am being cautious about A problem I've found is that the cover has a toggle string at the bottom that can't be turned off or on. While I understand the idea of tightening the cover at the bottom, in order to make sure it is securely on, you have to lift the bottom of the cover all the way over the top of the 7'- A heater that is 5 inches tall. Since you can't have a waistband that stretches, an elasticized bottom would have been better. The plus side of this case is that it appears to be waterproof, and because it is so thin, it is very light.

I found this cover to be the perfect fit for my patio heater. It appeared to be well-made, and the zipper worked without a glitch from top to bottom. As far as durability is concerned, I am not certain. According to the description, the In addition to keeping dust and insects out, the cover will keep small birds out of the burner area and the tank area as well.

My patio heater would have stayed nice as long as it was this way. Had a big wind not blown it over and bent it, it would have held up for a very long time. I guess that plan is doomed to failure.
