They are perfect for a gas fire pit. A lot of people like the look of glass, especially for its reflective nature. Gas burners are primarily placed under and around them Avoid blocking the holes where the flame comes out of the burner. Here's what I hope will help you.
In addition to the glass, the charcoal for the grill comes in a heavy paper bag. A good deal of the glass is 1/4" sharp edge pieces, but there are some smaller fragments as well, and it can be messy to work with. I have found that it has held up remarkably well in my firepit and looks great. I would shop around for a cheaper price if I were to buy again Pebbles for the firepit should be sharp, rounded, and smooth.
There is a firepit we use for small to medium pots. The glass I purchased was 20 lbs., but I would have been fine with 10 lbs. Fire blazing through the glass has a beautiful look to it.
As far as I can tell, this would not be a problem. This would be a good product for indoors use for me.

The fireglass I ordered arrived The Amazon box is packed in a plain, nondescript, but sturdy bag. It was lovely to see how they sparkled and reflected after washing. The pros are Please note I found the color to be accurate and displayed as described. Please note I found this price to be quite reasonable, especially when compared to some of the more expensive competition products*- The reflective side of fireglass "rocks" has almost a mirrored finish as described, especially after being washed as others have advised. The con Please note My expectations of the fireglass "rocks" were much smaller than the actual size of the rocks. The majority of the fireglass (over 50%, I believe) is between 1/4" and 2 1/4" in thickness The majority of them are 3/8" wide, but there are still some that are 1/2" wide
- The edges of the drawings are quite sharp, with a lot of points*BR>- Glass shards seemed to be more plentiful than I anticipated.
As I have recently purchased a gas fire pit, I wanted to get some tempered fire glass to both aesthetically enhance it and for practical reasons as well as because tempered glass also absorbs and radiates heat. There were lots of colors and choices on Amazon, and the prices were much better than in the local brick-and-mortar stores Stores with big boxes that sell home improvement products on site. Before you use the glass, be sure to rinse it off as it comes out of the bag quite dusty and you need to remove all the little I prefer not to have glass fragments end up in the sanitary sewer pipes, so I used a colander on top of a 5 gallon bucket and used a hose to wash the glass away. Using this method, I can drain the water from the fragments onto my lawn and then let them dry before throwing them away. In the case of the clear ones, they really sparkle, but again you really need to manage your expectations as they range between 1/4" to 1/2" in size. 90 percent of the materials in the bag were used by me. For this beautiful blue glass, I laid a bed of 10 lbs of obsidian dragon glass (also from Amazon) on top of it to really make it stand out. 1. 2. 3. I give it 5 stars for now. When I have fired up the fire pit twice, the blue color remains and does not crack or turn black. Due to inconsistencies in the size, I lowered my score. Thanks again for your excellent service. As a comparison, the black dragon glass (shown in photo) was advertised as 1/2", but they were consistent in sizing from 1/2" to 5/8".
It's so pretty! I love it! There was enough material in the bag to construct a large rectangle fire pit table and a smaller circle fire pit table. This is just as good, a bit larger than the size of the Dragon Glass you would find at Lowe's or Home Depot. Nonetheless, it is $15 more cheaper if you add five more pounds. I only have one complaint there was a lot of "glass dust" at the bottom of the bag that ended up all over my fire pit and dulled its shininess. I wish I had known about this sooner as I would have cleaned the glass off first. I was able to dig out the top layer and do this, but it took over an hour to do so. You will love it after you give it a good rinse before you put it in your pit!.

They are amazing! I cannot express my appreciation enough for them. Compared to the ugly lava rocks that were shipped with the unit, these rocks add an entire new dimension to the fire pit. This side shimmers beautifully because it is reflective. The product was delivered on time The bag was well packed and arrived on time. My sincerest gratitude!.
I agree, but. A thick paper bag contained the item. A label or instructions are not present. The glass was poured into the firepit after the bottle was opened. That's not right at all. Furthermore, thousands of tiny glass nuggets and splinters were scattered throughout the glass stones, and the rim and floor were also littered with them. Even though the glass is clearly glass, I had no idea there would be a few sharp and dangerous pieces of glass shards, probably created by shipping or handling. I was shaking so badly, it was nerve-racking The racks should be swept and vacuumed as much as possible after each piece is removed. A few were so thin that the only way to see them was with light reflection.
As far as rinsing the rock is concerned, I filled a large plastic bowl with water for rinsing and used a slotted spoon to pop it out of the water and onto a towel to air dry. Water will remain with pieces of glass in it, so you will need to find a location to dispose of the water (do not flush the water down your drain because it will have glass pieces in it that will wash down the I do not know if the illumination of the glass affects how it looks in the fire pit. My friend and I would recommend this seller because his price was the cheapest we could find.
In a nutshell I'm passionate about this glass in my propane fire pit, and I can't say enough good things about it. The view of it is wonderful when lit as well as when According to the recommendation, I ordered 20 pounds, but probably only used half of.
