There's nothing to worry about.
I love it. I love it.
There is air temperature of 72 above the water at 72 degrees, and there is water temperature of 72 degrees above the water. . . . it is summer and it is 90 degrees outside. There's the possibility that the thermometer may need to be submerged for some time before displaying an accurate temperature reading. At 72 degrees, the temperature remained unchanged after a few hours. If you are looking for a thermometer that will work, do not get this item. The pool is cute, except that I don't like floating around.
There has been a fever in my house for a few weeks now. The inner thermometer hasn't separated from the glue as I have not had that problem in the past. In fact, I did test it to see if it was ranged. However, I only heated the 76-degree water to 80 degrees after taking it from the fridge. Hence it does not remain at the same temperature for a long period of time.
My first one broke the day after I placed it in the pool. A few days later, I found that the thermometer had come loose from the outside After two days in the pool, the replacement did the same thing as the original. I returned it and had it replaced with Amazon. The machine gives an accurate reading of the temperature, but the quality appears to be low. No way would I buy from here.
The thermometer kept reading 80 degrees when I tried to go outside, I wish it worked. In the ice cold pool it is 80 degrees, and I have a 70 degree house it is 80 degrees. It was too expensive for me so I ended up returning.
