In short, yes.
A 5 inch or 19 centimeter measure
Our plan was not to leave the line blank, but to allow the user to calibrate it as they see fit. A permanent marker can be used to navigate the area effectively at whatever distance it suits you.
This is a solid 4 out of 5. There is a screw and nut that allows it to be detachable since its size is 5 X 3 cm. I am not sure if adding more weight is a good idea.

However, I have not yet caught any good sized fish with this rod. I imagine a crab would have a good headache from that, though. I can't finish it, but I'm going to try There is a Secchi disk in there. Turbidity is the measure of water clarity. The disk does an adequate job, but it is just a bit smaller in diameter than most Secchi disks I've used, so it is not entirely sure how comparable its results are with a larger one (that you can see a little lower In addition, if the rope had been marked, it would have been even better. Right now I just tied the rope every half meter and it works great.
Well, thank you. An excellent black and white division has been made on the disk. This weight sinks nicely and has minimal movement while weighted. The lanyard is yellow and appears to be durable, with an interesting semi-rigid design The piece of rigid foam is used as a storage container. However I was able to mark it myself with a Sharpie, even thought it ought to have been marked in 6" intervals. A turbidity measurement tool is exactly what you need if you need to determine water quality.
Although it would be a lot of money. Is doing what it is supposed to be doing. For this amount of money, they should have at least measured some 12" distances.
Would be nice if the string had feet or meters written on it. In the absence of this, the process is less accurate and extra step is required.
In the future, we hope to add oyster floats to our creek to improve water clarity. This device will help us determine how clear the water is after we install them. I added markers to the string to make it easier to measure the depth at which.
There was no such thing. The second drop caused it to fall off the line. There might have been too much slippage on the line to tie it. Since the disc is inexpensive, I bought a second one. I would like to purchase a disc without a line, however the ones on the site without line are double the price. I will tie this one by hand by replacing the line.
She definitely needed to hear this!.
We lost the secchi during normal use because the string broke off at the point where the disk mounts.
