Is it possible to remove the flamingo's top so it can be purposefully ?

In order to hold the flamingo to the thermometer bottom, the top and bottom are glued together. You can only separate them by breaking off the top, which defeats the purpose of buying it in the first place

It's been edited After spending 45 days floating in a calm, kid-free pool, I did last another 45 days. I picked it up to check the temperature, and as soon as I inserted the thermometer into the case, it was coming loose and bobbing around, unable to read the temperature. There is no doubt that the quality is awful. The addition of this to our Florida pool is so cute. We find the material to be durable, it is always upright, and it is very It will be interesting to see if the bold pink fades in the sun, so I will update after the summer is over. I would recommend it!.

The container has been emptied twice in the last The next time I grab the silicone gun, I'll dab a bit of silicone on it (pop it off the top of the thermometer) and glue a rubber ducky type hole onto the bottom. I can also tell it has faded a little bit in color. Despite this, I don't give much attention to it.

This thermometer has a very cute design, but like all pool thermometers, it has a string that will wear out and cannot stay in place. In this case, you'll have to replace the cards every year anyway, so it's cute and easy to read. There seemed to be no difference between the size of the display and others.

The perfect gift for a Flamingo lover! Here I am, I'm flamingo - This was my first wish for my new house and pool since I am an absolute fan! The device is very easy to read and it stays upright when submerged in There is a string on the float that you can use to tie it to your ladder, or, if you're like me, you let "Pinky" float around on her own My favorite part of it is that it is totally cheap and makes me smile whenever I see it being floated I really like this purchase

A week after it was installed, this pool thermometer stopped working. In spite of the pool heater being on or off, the temperature was always at 80 degrees. A new thermometer was purchased because our old one (we got a polar bear last time) was looking so dirty after being out in the sun all the time. But as we compared both units in the pool, the old one was accurate, while this one never got above.

This product is terrible, its piece within the pool moves around and it shows 70 degrees in the pool despite the fact that it is over 90 degrees outside and the pool is 12 feet long. I cannot select damaged or defective this time since you can't "return" it. I would like a replacement item that works, a product that I paid for.
