Water fills a little cup at the bottom of the fattest part (the bottom cup). It sounds like those dimensions are approximate. It is correct. It doesn't sound right to use 5 inches. There's nothing to indicate it's wide, but I assume it's about two inches wide.

During the last two months, I have updated my review twice. I've been using the thermometer for about a month now and it's still doing a good job. Within a minute after taking it out of the pool, it reads 100, so I then throw it back in the pool and within a minute, it reads 84, which is fairly accurate considering the digital thermometer reads The fact that it sinks rather than floats, and that it has a good size string for tying it down, are also appealing features. As a child, I used the bottom step of the pool ladder to tie mine. It was a good purchase, so I don't regret it. As you can see from the screenshot, the main issue with reading the thermometer is it requires glasses or squinting in the sunlight because the color bars and backgrounds for the degrees are exactly the same color (blue and blue as opposed to white bars and blue backdrop). The bottom has an opening so it can take in water so it sinks if you want it to, even if you want it to float. A few cons Reading this is difficult. * Pros include Apparently accurate and sinks rather than floats, making it a good deal cheaper.
What is supposed to be reading the temperature has been separated into a lot of smaller lines and no longer serves as a meter for it.
To use this thermometer, I just wanted a simple, inexpensive device that would make it easy for me to check the pool's temperature. I thought this would be a good one. It seems that this one has been broken for some reason. Even when it was clearly much colder, the temperature reading didn't change, even when it was much warmer. Even though it was moved out of direct sunlight, it still did not alter the reading.
There are some flaws in the thermometer, including its construction being cheap. As well as a float, but I didn't realize that, and that is on my part. There is a piece of plastic sticking out at the bottom of the pool, which can be easily popped off and has been knocked into the deep end or sucked up by the vacuum.
Despite being easy to read, the information is accurate enough to satisfy my needs. My partner and I hang it from the provided cord along one side wall. We find the large numbers most attractive. This is the first time in 30 years that I have a thermometer that lasts all summer and is easy to read.
A thermometer that hangs under the surface of the water can give you a more accurate reading of the water's Over the past few years, we have gone through about a dozen Last week, I have finally chosen a summer dress that could last me more than one summer. Despite the fact that it is well crafted, it appears to be quite.
A disintegrated state. Despite great care, the cord completely disintegrated after about 3 months, and I am pretty sure it's not a function of too much chlorine in the pool (thank goodness we're still alive). However, not even a pool product can include a cord that can handle a little bit of pool water, can it? The fact that this isn't a huge issue, but it does raise questions.
