Lighting with a narrow beam cone, these light fixtures provide a spot light effect. When they are placed in a vertical orientation, they cannot illuminate wide areas effectively. You might be able to get a better beam effect if you tilt them more horizontally, but you will still get a narrow arc effect. For light from a wide area, such as a pond, flood lights are better than single lights.
I was thinking it would be easier to cut off the connector and splice to low voltage line, but I don't see how to do this. Hope it works out for you
You can use these lights on 12 Volt AC or DC because they work on 12Volts

You should be careful when buying. My favorite piece of false advertising from Amazon, yet. I've yet to see a more blatant form of false advertising. In order to explain, I will try to keep this as short as possible. While the advertisement says this is a 4 pack, the product description indicates they are a 4-pack. There is an 8 watt bulb here. For each light, one is supposed to be used. The battery is 6 watt. It's not too bad thus far. The website misleads you here in a gross manner. In this case, three lights are installed in a box originally made for three. A power of 4 would be generated. The power consumption for those is 8 watts. It takes one light to turn on each. The battery is 6 watt. In the response I received, I'm sure it's the same for many others, that the power supply only draws The third one is this one. The power supply produces 6 watts when multiplied by 12 volts. Most likely, what you will get is a power supply designed for no more than 2 lights, much less 4, let alone 6. Almost a year after they began working, they stopped. The lenses from all of the figurines had water below the lens after being pulled out of my fountain. The doors do not seal against water.
