I have only used the lights a few times so far, but they have worked perfectly. The water in the pond does not continually submerge them because the outdoor fountain that drains when not in use (not a pond) runs continuously. As long as you are within a couple of feet from the light, the remote control works fine. For me, this works well, since I want each light to produce a different effect. If I controlled all the lights remotely from a distance (two, in this case), I would not be able to create the different effects, colors, etc. I would need the remote for each light. It is easy to control the brightness from the remote, which is great since I don't want the light to be overpowering but simple. do not use the "Flash", "Strobe", "Fade" and "Smooth" features, but I have tried each one and they do perform as they should. During the transition between colors, I found that "Smooth" offered a more pleasant transition. While the Fountains are beautiful at night, unlike the original lights, they can be changed anytime I want. I would like to see a built in timer that would turn them off after X hours, and a greater choice of colors, There may be a problem with the rubber O-rings or the rubber washers that people have complained about not being waterproof The battery ring may not have been properly installed, the cover may not have been tightened enough or may have been tightened too much, or the lights are continuously submerged, which I do not do.

The reason I purchased these was so I wouldn't have to drill holes in my fiberglass and be able to remove them if I wanted to. In my opinion, it is worth two stars because the lighting is not bad for the price and it seems to work well It was not until they changed colors that I started installation that I realized the mistake. Pictures show that the white has become yellow (see below). There is a keyboard that comes off the remote, which looks very cheap. As mentioned on the packaging, it is meant to be used with the batteries that come with it, but I got new batteries instead. There is no obvious sign that the product is new, since the package is fairly easy to open. Is it a product I would buy I like that. The chances are probably slim.

In other words, I want to say. Despite the fact that they worked, one got rain while in a pumpkin and stopped working. The water got inside the device and it broke. Prior to purchasing, I saw similar reviews, so I made sure I sealed them tightly, but I still didn't succeed.

There were 3 lights in a row that were all out of power. It took about an hour for the first one to begin. For the second one, the same applies. Finally, the third made it through three weeks of operation before shutting down. I only ran the lights for a few hours at night, maybe one or two (We bought them for a fountain and put them in twice a week). This product is inexpensive, but it is what it is.

Upon receiving them, they were used and not water proof, which was a waste of time and money I wish I had more hands to give those lights a 4 out of 5.
