There's a lot of water in my bird bath The diameter of the sphere is almost 18 inches I have tried several fountain heads, but the water blasts way too high no matter which one I use. In an hour, water spills outside of the birdbath, washing my patio with mud and emptying the birdbath. I am unable to return it, as I trimmed the ends of the straws sticking out on the sides of the device in the hope it might remain afloat when the overall water level began to drop (it did not). It would be nice if the water could be controlled at what height it shoots.
