Design Toscano QM2854900 Oceanside Pelican Spitter Piped Statue, Full Color

received this product in great anticipation. The pelican is a beautiful piece of art, but the spiter portion is problematic. I received two of these, and both of them leaked from the actual body of the bird, not from water fittings. Initially, it dripped about three drops per second, which accounts for about 15 gallons of water per In the second one, we got about one drop per minute, but that's five gallons per day, and on a closed pond we would have to fill it up every day. To see if silicone can repair it, I am trying to use it. There is one more warning, the Pelican has a 3/8 " fitting and most pond spitters have a 1/2" fitting, so if you intend to install it in a pond, you will need a 3/8-" hose. The only things that you will need are a 1/2' adapter and possibly 3/8" pipe if you don't have either.

both a Duck and a Pelican and they both leak from the rear tube. When unscrewing the brass fitting, you're not going to find any Teflon tape or sealer, but screw it back in, being careful not to damage the brass. The fix took some time since I had to fix it correctly. You may have to acquire some kind of sealer if that does not work. Simply blow into the opening with your finger and you'll find that it's easy to test. The product must not leak in order for me to give it a 5 star rating. I am just disappointed because I hoped it would arrive soon so I could use it.

It was bought twice and the first one had some internal obstruction which prevented any water from passing through. There was an internal leak in the second one The hose to the pump was not attached from that point, but from the point the pump was connected to the hose Neither of them could be used. I can't believe what happened! My first thought was that the little kids in my family would enjoy making this, but after two failures I decided not to pursue it. The kind of quality control that they do is To have or not to Could you please explain how this product works?.
