It's not an antique sundial compass, but it's a replica of one. It does, however, work.

Is there a user manual in English?

It is written in the English language. The instructions are engraved on the box's lid. It isn't particularly large. It's small, fitting into a 4"x4" box, but it's very attractive and well-made. It's on a curio shelf in my living room. It appeals to me greatly.

The Queen Anne's Revenge and the Adventure Galley are the same ship, but they sail under different flags

It's well-packaged and a good investment at $40. Queen Anne's Revenge is the one on the left in my photo, and Adventure Galley is the one on the right. The flags and a label on the base of Queen Anne's revenge (which is missing on Adventure Galley) are the only differences. Neither ship is represented in the models.
