It's a no-brainer These were purchased to go along with our rain chains as a way to direct the water down through them and avoid The system is very easy to operate. Caulking the first square, dropping out the center, caulking it as well, and hanging the chains led to a cleaner installation.

A good product

It works well and it fits the gutter perfectly, but we had to reduce the width of the flat part that sits in the gutter. Despite our expectations, the project ended up being more complicated than we thought. It took us a little longer to spray paint them so they matched our gutter since we weren't able to find it in white. It all came out very nice- just a little more work than we had anticipated. To ensure that you order the right size, please double check all measurements.

I like how easy it is to install and that it works well. It is best to use a rain chain to concentrate the flow of water on the chain if you are hanging one.

Choosing the appropriate solution for every situation

Cleaning the sealing surface (bottom of the gutter) and expanding the hole to a round shape will be required. To seal the piece, I use plenty of silicone sealant caulk. The rectangular hole may not look so great, but when the original hole was so large, not much can be done.
