Questions & Answers
Although each rain chain includes a triangular gutter installer, we recommend using our gutter adapters to improve the flow of water from your gutter to your rain chain. br>br>To achieve your desired height, remove as many links and cups as necessary.
There isn't any explanation. I wouldn't recommend placing these rain chains beneath a tree's canopy. The cups do collect leaves and other tree debris, which must be removed on a regular basis.
Purchase a replacement.
A gutter adaptor is recommended for installation. The basin serves to anchor the rain chain while also adding to the area's aesthetic appeal.

This chain has performed admirably and represents excellent value for money. I used two chains connected by a bowl.
All of the gutters have turned into waterfalls as a result of the heavy rain. This not only works, but it's also received a lot of positive feedback from the neighbors! I've included a video, and as you can see by the state of my porch, I'm not even close to keeping up with the Joneses! However, since I installed this chain, a few of them have approached me and knocked on my door, asking where I got it! It was also simple to install; my drill's 2" fitting made this fit perfectly; I'll be ordering more of these!.
I decided to order the 19142 Bamboo with two lengths and adapter for my mother in Arecibo P. after a previous order for a set of Monarch Rain Chains went well. UPS delivery service was completely subpar, which was evident in their negative Google reviews. This was due to no fault of Amazon or the manufacturer. She was overjoyed to finally have the package in her hands after numerous phone calls and delays. The total length installed was about 15', which was secured to a flower pot and gravel to provide the necessary weight to secure the long length of chain. My mother and stepfather are pleased with the chain's appearance and functionality, and it is hoped that it will withstand the annual tropical storms that hit Puerto Rico. Overall, we are pleased with the product; this is our second purchase, and we would not hesitate to buy Monarch products again.
The excellent architectural design adds a new dimension to the yard, and they are extremely durable. I have four of them strewn about my house in various locations. They're a great artistic alternative to a typical rain gutter downspout, which has a very industrial appearance. The links that hold it together are so strong that they were able to withstand the torrential rain that fell during a tropical storm a few weeks ago. We received 8 inches of rain in just a few hours, and I was concerned that the amount of rain and wind would cause the chains to break. In any of the chains, not a single link broke or came loose. I could not believe my eyes. But the install kit, as well as the tray at the bottom (which I filled with river rocks after securing the chain), are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. The installation kit provides a cleaner finished look while also preventing splash over at the top chain during normal rain. The bottom tray not only keeps the chain from blowing around on a windy day, but it also adds a nice finishing touch to the bottom of the chain.
We purchased three of these, as well as a rain chain gutter installer (round device) and a copper basin bowl, which were all used in the same location. These are entertaining, attractive, and effective at channeling light to medium rain. If it rains heavily, they will overflow and rain will splatter all over the place - I don't think it's a big deal, but I thought I'd bring it up. br>br>Very easy to set up - Install the gutter installer in the rain gutter, then cross the mounting bar across the bottomm hols in the installer to hang it. If the copper basin or another weight isn't on the bottom, wild will blow it around. If you don't want the bowl, you can make your own bottom weight or anchor. br>br>These are vulnerable to leaves, ice, or other foreign material obstructing the outflow at the base of each unit - If they become clogged, witer splatters and diverts. But, to me, that's a minor point, and they're simple to fix if something goes wrong.
I was skeptical of the rain chain as a downspout replacement, but it turned out to be a very functional design that can handle a lot of water. The copper looks great, and I was pleasantly surprised at how well it moved water without leaking. The only disadvantage was how easily leaves and debris could clog it.
I had originally ordered a different rain chain, but it was far too small when it arrived (width-wise). wise). This was my second choice, but I like it a lot better than the first! I was afraid that all I'd see from the picture would be Devo hats (if it was red), but they look fantastic. It has a Frank Lloyd Wright feel to it in our context. I've got two of them, and they're linked. It hasn't rained yet, so it hasn't been put to the test, aside from a brief workout with a garden hose.
I couldn't wait for it to rain when my rain chain arrived the other day. I knew I'd made a good purchase as soon as I took it out of the box. Copper is a tough metal. It hangs nicely and was simple to install. It was a little windy this morning, but it didn't blow away. I bought the basin to go at the bottom, and it's the perfect length for my porch. My expectations were not met in terms of quality. I'm really happy with it, and I'm thinking about getting another one for the other end of the porch. It's beautiful to look at, and it's even better to hear. The sound of rain falling is something my wife and I enjoy.
