What is the approximate weight of this item?

I'm not sure how much they weigh, but I do know they're light. We put a stake in the ground (which came with the rain chain) and attached the last bell to it so it wouldn't blow away in the wind. Our rain chain bells are a favorite of ours!

Is the actor for the channel included?

The hanger is included, allowing it to be hung from the gutter.

Is it true that they are silent? Isn't it true that a standard downspout can make a lot of noise?

The volume of sound produced is determined by the intensity of the rain. However, I find the sound to be pleasant at all times. Downspouts act as echo chambers, but these cups are open to the elements. The drip acoustics can also be changed by adjusting the distance between the bottom of the last cup and the water line. It was too quiet when I first put it close. I took out the last cup and lowered it to about six inches, which now makes a nice sound when the water falls into the collection bowl. I hope this has been of assistance.

Is the rain chain's attachment included with the chain, and how do you attach it to the gutter?

A is required to secure it to the gutter. Opening a hole in the bottom of the gutter with a hole saw. Or B. Use a section of gutter that was previously used as a downspout. You'll also need the piece that resembles a flat piece with an open column in the middle, in addition to the rain chain. Water will splatter all over if you don't use something like that. At the top of the rain chains are two semi-flexible prongs. These go in the bottom of the hole and are spread apart in the gutter like cotter pins (but on a larger scale). If my instructions aren't clear, I recommend looking up a YouTube video on how to install.

The image of PEWTER in a stock photo is deceiving

I placed my order based on the stock photo, which depicted the "pewter" in a slightly bronze tone. It has no bronze tone to it when it arrives, and it does not appear to be the same color. I double-checked the discrepancy on several devices. The "pewter" option is a true "pewter," so if that's what you're after, it's perfect. However, if you want one that matches the stock photo's color scheme, this won't cut it. Having said that, these are of excellent quality. br>br> It's just a shame they don't match the rest of my house.

I got this to catch water from a covered swing structure, and it looks great

It performs admirably. The cups are quite light and would most likely flutter in the wind. I wire wrapped a decorative rock (thanks to OxanaCrafts on YouTube) and attached it to the last cup, which helped to keep the rain chain in place.

The product is of good quality and is simple to put together. It started to rain a few hours after the installation. Despite the fact that it wasn't a particularly heavy downpour, there was no splashing. However, the small number of connections between cups gives me hope that this will be a low-splash chain.

This chain of rain is incredible. It does exactly what we expected it to do. We put this in an area that was once a waterfall destroying our mulch beds because we live in the south, and it now looks great and works great.

If you have an 8-person group, this is a good option

However, 1/2 foot is all that is required. I recently had a new patio cover built, and the downspouts were designed to be visually incongruent with the rest of the structure. That would have been a complete mismatch. These rain chains did an excellent job. The only problem was that I needed one chain to be a little longer and wanted to buy two more cups to extend one chain, but the seller did not respond.

Not only is it lovely, but it's also useful! I'm a big fan of the rain chains. When we have guests over, they are always a talking point, and if it isn't raining, I usually get the hose out and spray the roof to show them how the rain chain works. Haha!.

br>The small clip was made of aluminum, which made it very easy to cut. br>There was an extra clip included, so I attached it to the bottom cup and hung a rock for weight after removing the two cups. br>However, attaching a clip to the lowest cup was difficult. Overall, it appears to be in good shape and is performing well.
