THESE LIGHTS ARE COMPLETELY INAPPROPRIATE. These are fantastic lights! I'll use it for Halloween, Christmas, the Fourth of July, and so on, because there are so many colors to choose from. For Halloween, they're a hit with the neighbors! 12 - br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>b Update 20: br>I had a lot of fun with these lights and used them for Halloween and Christmas. When I got home last night, I noticed that one of the spotlights had changed color from purple to blue. Every color on the remote control that contains any amount of red (any shade of red, orange, purple, pink, etc. ) has become unusable. It's as if whatever controls the red family of colors in the light has broken down and stopped working. I was extremely disappointed. Due to the fact that the light was purchased 30 days ago, Amazon will not replace it; however, they will give you a small credit. I've contacted the manufacturer, but I have a feeling they won't do anything. I'm not pleased, and I'm beginning to wonder if the other three lights will go out as well. 11- br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br YES, another one has failed to function properly. Blue tones will not work, so any color with blue in it (purple, blue, pink) will not work. With this light, I basically only have two options: red or green. I was extremely disappointed. 12 - br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>b I urge everyone to run as fast and as far as they can away from these lights. I've had these for a little over a year, and the latest development in this saga is that one of the lights is completely dead. There are no colors that work, not one, not two, not three, not four, not five, not ten, not twenty, I've made several requests through the manufacturer's website, but they've all been ignored.

These are quite bright, to be sure. I ended up purchasing a set of four, and I was so pleased with them that I purchased more. In the end, I had eight. On the house, there are seven, and on the tree, there are only one. They're simple to set up and operate on their own. Normally, they will be white to light up the house, then red for Halloween, blue for Christmas, or red and green, and so on. br>br>Pros. br>Brightbr>Very compactbr>Easy to mountbr>Colors all look greatbr>Several presetsbr>And my favorite part is that you can set them to flash and increase the speed to make them strobe lights. I'm going to buy another set of four just for this because I'm going to use them all year in different places. br>If you put one at the base of a tree, it will light up the tree and make it look like snow. br>br>Cons. br>The hardware is insufficient. You'll get one or two uses out of it before having to reolace it, which isn't a big deal. br>br>Updated on January 18th. br>Since I bought it three months ago, the lights have been turned on every night. There haven't been any problems. There is no flickering, dimming, or glass fogging. (As a result of their success, I've purchased 16 more for a Halloween display. ).

*UPDATE REVIEW
Three of the four lights stopped working after they were installed in July. They were working fine until they started flashing red/green and occasionally blue, regardless of which button on the remote was pressed. They are no longer functional. I contacted Ustellar about it, but I haven't heard back yet. Which is strange because they usually respond quickly and offer assistance (I own a lot of their lights). There has been no resolution for nearly three weeks. The lights are usually of good quality and last a long time, but the batch I bought in July was of poor quality. I'll keep you updated as soon as they respond. br>br>I've never been disappointed by Stellar. I started with the front of my yard, just to add some color at the end of our dark Cul-de-sac. sac. I've moved to the sides and the back of the room. Because I am backed up to woods and plan to do some more amazing things back there, my goal is to have these lights all over my backyard. I like being able to adjust the color, brightness, and set a timer. These new Ustellar lights have more functions and colors than my previous lights- Which is unfortunate for my bank account because I intend to replace them soon with newer ones. Every holiday, I change the colors, which is really fun. Because my Ustellar landscaping lights are the first thing you see coming down our street, I get a lot of compliments from the people on my street. These are lights that I strongly recommend. br>br>The ONLY criticism I have is that I would like to be able to mount these on stakes. I'm currently experimenting with various types but have had no success thus far. I'm going to have to enlist the help of my husband. br>br>Once again, these lights are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!.

I purchased the four-pack to create some fun lighting for a spooky Halloween shoot. They were simple to assemble; simply plug the brackets in and adjust the angle, and you're ready to go. I used the remotes to set the colors I wanted, took a few photos, and then repeated the process. I hit the off button pointed at each of them about an hour later (shoot was indoors), and two of them turned off, while the other two did not. On both included remotes, I tested all of the control buttons. Two of the units have full control, while the other two have no control at all. So now I'm stuck with one full blue and one full red that I can't control. I unplugged them for 16 hours in the hopes that they would "lose some settings and revert," but no such luck. If two of them die so quickly, it's probably not the seller's fault, but some serious QA issues.

I'm completely blown away by what I've accomplished with two sets of four of these incredible lights. I'm looking forward to using them for both Thanksgiving and Christmas lighting! It's also the New Year! Why not? The overall look is so elegant and festive, and the lights are so simple to operate; they don't require a complicated app that doesn't connect to WiFi half of the time and takes 10 minutes to close and reopen. Not just the lights in the box, but all the lights can be controlled with a single remote. All you have to do is point and click. The lights are bright but dimmable and come in a wide range of colors. br>br>Since I installed these lights on October 3rd, we've been running them almost all day, every day, for just over two weeks. I'll keep you updated if they start dropping like flies, but for the time being, they've met all of my requirements. We chose to place ours on large flat river rocks to keep them off the mulch because they get a little hot to the touch after a couple of hours on. I'm not going to take any chances because we're in California and it hasn't rained much this year. They haven't been exposed to any moisture, and we haven't even had night dew yet, so things could change as the season progresses.
