Yes.
To do so, you'll need a 120v to 12v converter.
Yes, but if your shop/garage ceiling is less than 12' high, it will require a lot of concentration. These are extremely bright, so unless you have a tall shop or a garage with more than three cars, they may be too bright for you.
A switch, a photocell, or a sensor is required!

Each one is 8000 lumens, for a total of 24,000 lumens. The ad has changed a few times since I bought them, but when I bought them, it said they were 24,000 Lumens, which was exactly what I needed. I believe they have addressed this; however, I am very likely to return mine, as they appear to be of good quality but are not what I required or expected.
I wanted 25k LUMENS, but they're only 8k LUMENS each, for a total of 24k LUMENS. Irresponsible and deceptive marketing. (UPDATE) They are SIGNIFICANTLY Dimmer after two weeks. I installed the third light, which is two times brighter than the previous two. I was definitely taken in by these lights. Ripoff.
These lights are extremely bright and, thus far, appear to be of excellent quality. It's like daylight in the backyard when all three are turned on. br>br>One disadvantage to be aware of is that the mounting bracket does not cover a standard round outlet box, which is commonly used for lighting fixtures. I was replacing lights and was able to work around it by using the old cover, but it's something to keep in mind.
I strung three of these across the back of my house, and it makes my backyard look like it's 3:00 a. m. At 3:00 p. m. , They're up high because we have a two-story house. My children can now play football until 10 p. m. in the backyard. 00 p. m. , and you can clearly see the ball. Both the metal frame and the glass cover are of excellent quality. The size is ideal, and they blend in seamlessly with the rest of the house. Hook- It was very easy because I just replaced my old flood lights that were 3xs as expensive to run and 25% of the brightness. These lights come highly recommended!.
This set of lights is fantastic. I used a total of 12 of them to cover a 100 x 150 ft arena. These were 25 feet high, with two lights covering a 50x50 foot section of the arena. The lighting is very consistent. br>br>The mounting bracket is the only source of negative feedback. I mounted the bracket by drilling two holes close to the outside edge. The bracket is the weakest part of the chain. The light is excellent in and of itself.
With an 80W or retina-burning white bulb and a multipack, you're good to go. It's possible that you should inform your neighbors. or not. br>There's plenty of wire to go around for installation. With the addition of a smart switch, you'll be able to control your lights.
Metal and glass are both used in this project. The mounting is simple, but not as adjustable as I'd like; however, this is a minor flaw that is easily remedied. The amount of light generated is amazing. I'm guessing they're meant to be hardwired, but I just plugged one in to see how it worked. It was kept in use, and I intend to purchase more.
