I liked that it was an LED product (which meant I wouldn't have to climb a ladder to change the flood light bulbs as often). The brightness of the light took me by surprise. From the street in front of the house, I took this photo. The floodlight is located in the backyard, and you can see how brightly it illuminates the backyard and shed. The second photograph depicts illumination directly in front of the light source. Unfortunately, one of the lights is blocked by the ladder, which is why the shadow beyond the ladder can be seen. I probably should have taken a picture after I finished adjusting the bulb angles, but this thing is fantastic. It was a simple change from our previous flood lights. I was debating whether or not to replace the flood light on the shed, but this one illuminates the yard sufficiently, so I simply removed the other flood light. The brightness is excellent, and the installation is simple. There are some reviews that make it seem like this is a motion sensor light, but it is not. This was purchased to be used in my backyard, above my patio porch, and to be controlled by a switch. I took down the previous light and installed this one in about 5 minutes. I've had a few people compliment me on how nice the light looks and how bright it is. I had to drive around the back of the yard at first because we were back-to-back. Our subdivision's road leads up to it. Going one way, I was hit with glare, so I angled that side slightly lower, but the other side was fine, and it lit up the entire yard, including the pool area. I like how clean and white it looks, and dogs seem to enjoy it as well. One thing to keep in mind is that you will not be sitting outside under the light, at least not on the setting I have it on; it is bright and almost obnoxious, but that is exactly what I wanted.

These lights produce a great flood effect, but they also have a good range. They don't have a pointless motion sensor, which I really like. Because light travels so far, I'd think of them as both flood and spot lights (for my application). With the three separate panels, they work really well on the corners of the house, filling the entire backyard with usable light and eliminating any dark spots. spots. They're bringing light to a much larger area of the house than the standard 2 bulb lights they're replacing. In this photo, they're about 35' apart. They are less noticeable and sleek than the old lights because they don't'stick out' as much as the old lights did. br>To mount the single screw to the center of the electric box housing, use a long skinny phillips screwdriver or a 1/4" ratchet. The electric box adapter (cross member) into which the light screws is included with this light. It should be connected to a standard light switch and run on regular AC power. br>If these hold up well, I'll buy two more for the front of the house and above the garage next year. br>br>Review of the Reviewsbr>I was reading through some of the negative reviews and came across the following:

Many people rely on these reviews, so please make sure it isn't yours. The majority of people have no trouble mounting these; I used a 10-inch phillips screwdriver to secure mine.

The lights are not lockable and move in 10 mph winds, making them difficult to install under the eaves.

Between four houses, I've installed more than a dozen of these. The motion detector works fine, but it must be placed beneath a protective eve or it will fill with water, and to clarify, it was installed correctly with the motion sensor down. These work fantastically well and are incredibly simple to install, but they are ineffective as an eve-mounted unit; they must be wall-mounted or a slew of problems will arise. The lights' face is waterproof and effective; everything else is reliant on it draining out the bottom so that it does not fill up with water. I recommend using silicone to seal everything, including the rotating arms for the two side lights and the ball joint that connects the back plate to the motion sensor, rather than just the back plate and the house. With these lights, there are a variety of styles and lumen outputs; each has its own place, and I would recommend any of them.

It's a huge improvement over my old floodlights. I needed light to spread throughout the yard, and this fixture provided it. It was simple to put together and only required the use of a screwdriver extension. After reading some of the reviews, I was concerned. The only issue I see is that I can't tighten the adjustment, so I'll wait until one of our extremely windy days to see if they move.

The light is portable, waterproof, and the lights can be pointed in a variety of directions, which is fantastic. However, without a specialized ultra-short screwdriver, it is impossible to install the light. I'm a handy guy with a lot of screwdrivers and even a curved-tip screw gun, but I couldn't get it to work. Because of a poor design, you can't get to the main installation screw. The installation screw is hidden behind the light, and it is impossible to reach with a standard screwdriver. As you can see in the picture.
