This is a good question. Thank you for asking. The same thing seems to be true to me. In the top corner of the page it says 42" x 35" and in the description below it says the size varies depending on the color. 12 is the number that Black says. The square is seven times ten. A Brown T-shirt has a Large label, a Grey one has an XL label. I'd like the black one, but the size does not seem right to me.
A pair of bare feet does not find it uncomfortable. In my back yard, I step on it without shoes all of the time. I don't notice any problem.
As I live in a warm climate, I am unable to answer questions related to cold weather. My test result is that it held up well to a downpour, thunder, and winds. Even after moderate rain, the mat feels dry compared to everything else in the area. It does not move at all when the wind blows. The following information may be of some assistance to you.
