To position this tool in front of the RV door, I needed something lightweight. I tried several other options before finding this one, and it works great! It stays put and dries fast. It covers any fresh dirt or pet hair that would otherwise show through between cleanings, so everything looks tidy and neat between cleanings. Even with frequent vacuuming, I haven't noticed any shed hair. So far, I haven't washed the rug in a machine, so I can't speak to its durability, but a couple of shakes outside and a run over it with the vacuum have proven to be enough to get the job done. There was no rolling on the mat, so there was a 'seam' down the middle that could not be removed. To try to get it out, go through one machine wash. I am dissatisfied with the quality of the product. This consistency is similar to a throw rug. There is no backing that can be applied to a flat surface, it is flimsy, very light and doesn't lay flat. It wouldn't be a good recommendation!.

Although there are a lot of positive reviews for this, I am curious why there are so many. The backing is very thin and the material is very thin as well. For an entry rug, I think it would be a poor choice - I use it in my kitchen to absorb water from dishwashing, but I wouldn't suggest this as an option for the bathroom. This is what I was originally planning on using it for- There will need to be something that makes it easier to stay put, but something a bit thicker is needed. I feel almost like I am looking at a fuzzy floor mat here. However, it is soft and absorbent, so I don't think it would be a bad item for the kitchen, especially since it can be machine washed.

In our new travel trailer, we have black and white checkered floor tiles that look fantastic, but the white tiles get dirty as soon as we step on them. This is a great rug to create a "walking path" with because not only do they look good, but they are soft as well. There is no need for a rug pad for this rug since the back of it grips the ground. As I have not yet washed them, I cannot comment on how well they clean. It is possible that I will purchase a fourth.

It's only these two things I'm worried about It slides very easily and does not stay in place well at the door and does not do a satisfactory job of keeping leaves out. My hardwoods and tile look a lot cleaner, and it reduces the dust prints on them dramatically. I also find it to be quite beautiful.

My first purchase was brown. I loved it so much I ordered a black one the next day. A short shag breed with a lot of density. The matt is nice, but I have problems getting it to lay flat when I lay it down. It can be frustrating to constantly readjust. Other than that, the product is a good one. However, I would counsel the shipper to do something different with the shipment. Adding a little extra to the price might be necessary. In addition to paying for a little more if the rug lays flat out of the packaging, clients may also be happy to spend more money for a flattened out rug.
