We are still having snow in April in western New York state where I live. As this mat is directly inside the kitchen door, mud, water, and snow are tracked in to it by humans and dogs. Although it never gets wet underneath, it gets wet on the outside.

I have only had it for a week in a very low traffic area and it has already shed pieces of black carpet all over my I wasted my money on this. It was purchased to replace a Home Depot mat that was 2 years old and cost less than this one. I expected a better product. It is not a very good product in terms of overall construction, just a very thin rubber.
It is going to be our policy to only utilize Gorilla Grip rubber door mats in our home.
There is always a slight appearance of dust on the floor when you haven't vacuumed It would have been returned if I had discovered this prior to the return period expiring. I moved it to the back hall as it is, and this will hopefully solve the problem. This is one of those places where I don't like looking at at all!.

It's a great rug at a nice price! We use it as a rug in our apartment. I could only complain that the rug tends to stick to the debris on it (leaves, pet hair, etc. ), thereby making it hard to vacuum. It has been my experience, however, that most rugs of this material also exhibit this characteristic. The vacuum also picks up a bit of rug material, but not a lot. As my outdoor mats, these are what I use. It feels good to walk on them because they are soft and comfortable. Although the material doesn't feel rough enough to remove dirt from shoes, it doesn't feel rough enough to rub off. There is no way to keep the black color clean since dirt appears very easily on black surfaces. These mats are reasonably priced with standard quality, and a pretty good value for the money.
I use it as a litter box mat for my cat. It was perfect for the space with a width of 23 inches. I can catch the litter pebbles my cat kicks out perfectly with the ridges on the lid.
