Ours is outside on concrete and does not slip at all. Indoor surfaces are something I'm not familiar with.

Simply vacuum with a hand-held vacuum, sweep with a broom, or shake off outside or over your garbage can to remove the debris. Wipe the mat down with a damp cloth and mild soap for a deeper clean, or rinse it outside with a garden hose. Before using it again, let it air dry completely. Bleach should never be used.
On the paws of a dog, I'm sure it's not pleasant. The mat is in direct sunlight for about half of the day, according to our observations. The dog (a Lab mix) sleeps on it for part of the day until she gets too hot from the sun and moves to a cooler spot. However, she does not appear to be overheating.

My side door is the perfect size. It appears to be a part of the room, rather than just a "wipe your feet" addition, thanks to the pattern and color choices. Heavy- It doesn't slip or curl because of the weight rubber. I purposefully waited 6 weeks before writing a review because determining whether a product lives up to its description can take a long time. That's for sure. A follow-up message from the seller was received. Thank you for your follow-up email, which was very helpful.
I didn't mind the smell (although it does have a strong rubber odor), and it didn't stay put very well and had some flaws in three of the corners, but the fact that it didn't lay flat was the main reason I was dissatisfied with it. It was rolled up for shipping and hasn't been found since. I tried everything I could think of. I tried reversing it and putting it in the sun, but it still won't lay flat, making it a trip hazard; I should have read another review saying the same thing before ordering.
After a rainy night, I bought this doormat and placed it at my front door, only to find it had turned into a puddle! This doormat does not drain water, which I don't understand because it's supposed to be used outside. I'll never buy it again, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who wants to use it outside. I'm in need of a new doormat. br>It also didn't roll out flat. One side of my front door was still not flat after a week!.
This product was fantastic because it stayed in place and trapped dirt and grime that would otherwise have found its way into my trailer while we were camping. Until I lifted it to clean my floors, I thought this was the best trailer mat ever. My trailer's floors have been ruined as a result of a chemical reaction to my floors. RUINED! It's a chemical stain, and I've tried everything to get rid of it without success. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. My trailer is brand new.
It also rains a lot in this part of the country. My tile floors are always covered in dirt, and other floormats I've tried either don't trap the sand/dirt or the dogs just leap over them as they sprint inside. Since getting this rug, my floors have never been cleaner; I got one of the wider ones and turned it into a runner. This morning, one of the dogs pooped on it (gross), but I was able to quickly spray it down with the hose and let it dry on the patio. br>br>It does have a strong rubber smell at first, as other reviewers have mentioned, but I think that's normal and it didn't bother me. You could leave it outside for a day or two first. br>br>Even though it was rolled up for shipping, when I opened it up, it lay perfectly flat.
It also appears to be quite appealing. If you have a senior dog, this rug is ideal. On occasion, my elderly dog pees near the door. This rug appealed to me because of its rubber backing. It clings to the wood floor perfectly and is easy to clean with a garden hose, detergent, and a plastic scrub brush before drying in the sun. It was easy to clean and didn't fade at all. This rug has made a big impression on me.
Before ordering two mats, I neglected to read all of the previous buyer's comments. These mats had been considered for use in the engine room of my boat. I couldn't help but notice the stench of the Gorilla mats as soon as I got them. I left both mats out in the sun for the entire day. There has been no modification. Both mats were returned to me. These mats have a foul odor, to the point where I believe they are a health hazard, particularly for my intended use.
This was purchased to serve as a step from my garage to my home. I needed something that would catch the dirt while also not slipping on the step. This rug is in excellent condition and has not moved. The construction is of excellent quality. Note: The first one I bought had a flaw in the weave, but I had no trouble returning it for a replacement, which I received in just two days. Perfect for what I was looking for.
