On our outside patio, we have direct on pavers. It appears that it dries quickly and that it has never collected water. It also appears to drain well.
The rug may have some shipping creases, but once opened for a day or two, it will lie flat. Curling is not permitted.
This will be blown away in the wind. In windy conditions, you can use an indoor/outdoor rug tape to keep the corners and edges down.
Mine did a great job of flattening out.

This product was an excellent choice for my outdoor patio. The rug is secure, and the chairs glide smoothly over it. The rug can be hosed down to remove dust or spilled food, and it dries quickly.
I ordered this rug for my deck after reading the positive reviews. I have a newly built deck, and the stain and sealer in one was a little tricky to apply, and there were some streaky areas I wasn't happy with, so I figured a nice rug would hide it and add some contrast to the deck. That is exactly what this does. It's light and slips a little on the slick surface, but it rained last night, flattening out the folds and leaving the rug undamaged. I live in the south, and despite having a retractable awning, it is frequently closed due to the fact that it cannot remain open in heavy rain or wind, so the rug will be exposed to a lot of heat and sun. I'm curious to see how it holds up in the long run.
It's the right size, and I like the simple border pattern, which contrasts nicely with the majority of outdoor rugs, which are far too colorful for my tastes. I adore this rug, but it was quite the ordeal to obtain it. I got the first one for half the price at C0stco, but I loved it so much that I needed a second one in my apartment. This rug is absolutely stunning. My cat puked on it on the first day I had it. Cleanliness was excellent. The border isn't truly aqua, and there's more of a herringbone pattern than the photo depicts, but both are very pretty, and I'm pleased with my purchase.
