As it is raw wood, it has a rough texture. You can stain it if you want to or treat it and I think it might put them off if it is
The bulk corn I buy from Country Maxx comes in 25 Pound bags that contain both peanuts and corn on the cob. I loved the service, and I only paid $12 for the corn. The price for a 25 pound bag is 99 cents. are required to pay shipping and can receive a discount if you order on a regular basis. The fact that it is delivered directly to your front door is also great. That should be of some help.
Turn the corn around the screw that is on top of the table to ensure that it is fully twisted. The squirrels are unable to eat from it unless it is locked in place. In that case, a squirrel probably deserves that corn since it is impressively smart that it was still able to remove it.
If you use a longer screw and drill it through the center, you can mount it straight to a stump. If you drill the screw sideways down the legs, you cannot mount it straight to a stump. It is fully assembled as well. Please accept my thanks for the questions you asked.

There is too little space for this to actually be useful. This isn't what I had.
We purchased this for our new friends in the backyard and have been using it for a few months now (since it takes a bit of time for them They were well ahead of time before they even used it. As a result, the cheap zinc screws are already rusting, the bench pieces (which are also crooked) are already growing mold (probably because the cheap wood was not sealed for outside use), and the zinc screws did not even hold the tree properly to the bench. 11-year-old nephew could make one for much less. In the last few days, I've decided to get a nicer one made with better quality wood and hopefully without any toxic substances One seat with a round table (it is made of stainless steel and contains rusting stainless screws). Perhaps you should try that one first. Your new corn-loving friends will appreciate its size and quality I am sure.
So I got a picnic table so that I can enjoy the squirrels just as much as they enjoy my yard. The smallest bird came on the second day, just when I thought it wouldn't work. He ate 15-ounces of chicken, and then put his head on a stick to clean it up The show lasted 20 minutes and was entertaining. This is one of the things I like about the farm, they stop by for some corn every now and then. I guess the wood is thick and will last, but it was quite wobbly when I got it, and it was loose. Once I added glue and screwed the screws, everything was back to normal. I took a couple of stars off of my rating because of it. There should not be any need to do so.
No longer does my bird feeder get attacked by them!.
He loves it! Got it for his birthday and he absolutely loved likes to watch the squirrels battling for a spot at the table to eat the corn cob as they take turns.
It just made me laugh to see this in the box. The child looked like it was 8 years old His shop class led to him trying to build it. I would say it is an eight-inch The year is He may have done a better job in the old days. It was still a very attractive item, but I decided not to use it. In addition, the wood has not been finished at all, it has just been rough-cut, and the screw is being driven through the rough-cut part, but it is not there yet. After I drilled holes into the cheap pine, one part of it just fell off onto the ground while I was trying to put it up. Was a total waste of my time and money to return it.
Also, you may be required to return the screw that is used to put the corn on to its original position if it becomes unscrewed underneath the corn. The quality of the product is excellent! Watching squirrels is my favorite thing to do!.
As you can see, the squirrels do love it, and they do like to sit in the picture as well. The wood was still green, so after a few weeks in the sun, the screws holding the table to the back of the house began to loosen a little bit. As new ears of corn were put on, the screw that secured the corn would dislodge. The table was taken off and glued to the back, then the screws were put back in, and I drilled an opening in the bottom to be able to easily tighten the table screws when they loosen.
