There is a note in the description that states that the product must be boiled before being eaten. Having no adverse effects on human health." It's unclear where the other people who answered obtained their information from, but what they said is wrong. I got these mainly to make Cajun boiled peanuts for myself, but some will go to the blue jays and squirrels in their feeders
I would never do that! You can be sure that squirrels' organs are not affected by this product. I have been feeding my little critters in my backyard every morning before I go to work for over 2 years. As soon as I exit the house, they will be waiting for me. I have noticed an increase in the size of my squirrel families and the size of my bluejay families since feeding my squirrels and bluejays peanuts.
It should be noted that these are not green peanuts. They are raw, uncooked peanuts, which will need to be roasted or baked before being consumed by humans.
While I am no peanut expert, I don't think there is much difference between the two. I purchase raw peanuts from a local supplier to feed Only difference for me is that I buy them in 25lb bags and have them delivered to my door, and I think the process is cheaper than going to the grocery store to buy small quantities.

While it is as you might expect it isn't a 5 star experience for me, I'm still glad I gave it 4 stars. In a way. The issue #1 for the month pound for pound, costco has raw peanuts in shells for HALF the price at which I purchased them. I figured they would be less expensive would be here, so I bought these first. I noticed Costco was selling this for half price that was What it means. You can eat or feed peanuts at Costco, and they are half the price pound for pound (they sell smaller bags, but still bulk size). Issue #2 - The peanuts at Costco are safe to eat and can be fed to wild animals. Birds can pick each up and toss it until they reach a more palatable one. That is not just my impression. I can see birds picking them up and tossing them until they reach In the end though, if there are no other options, they still take the peanuts on a later trip, but animals instinctively shop around with them, which indicates that there is something a little off about these calories. I would buy it again if the price were half of what it is now, just to save myself It is absurd, however, how the current rate is calculated.
His new friend Rocky will speak for the Wingfield Farm Virginia Peanuts. He takes the peanuts out of my shirt pocket then enjoys them on my knee while I read in my backyard.
See picture. Rocky enjoys his treat thoroughly. During early evening, the family of raccoons joins in on the treats as well as the squirrels, blue jays, and other birds. I make a mess of the remaining shells, but it only takes a few minutes to sweep them up, and I get a lot of enjoyment from.
My bird feeders were kept out of the raccoons' and squirrels' territory by the product I bought. The shipping speed was fast and it is the perfect way to attract the insects. Home Depot Buckets with tight fitting lids were used to store the peanuts. I now find dozens of strange flying things fluttering out of the buckets whenever I open them. There were insect eggs in the bag of peanuts There was no eggs inside the shells, but adult flying things attached eggs to the shells with their claws. With the caveat that peanuts are not fit for human consumption, this appears to be a common problem with the way bags of peanuts are stored before they are sold and shipped.
Our "outside pets" are given these for their benefit - These nuts are bought for them. It includes squirrels, chipmunks, birds, raccoons, etc. The latest bag arrived at our front door, and when we removed it from the box, we found that one corner had been pried open and the bag containing it had a hole. We noticed that our raccoons had been using it as a The trash panda family would have my vote for your nuts.
It took me a while to accept this product as my squirrels enjoyed chewing on them at first. When I learned that raw peanuts actually kill squirrels, I learned that they go to their grave. Roasting peanuts is the best way to feed squirrels. According to the information provided on this website and about this product, it is used by wildlife, It's nothing new to me to feed squirrels and deer, crows, birds, and all sorts of critters with leftovers. My squirrels are safe because I roast them every few days so that I don't kill them. I have around 20 lbs total of this 25 lb bag left. While I do not know whether this product is a good one, I do know the labeling and advertising are very inaccurate.
I just had no choice but to declare a boiled peanut cook off at that point in time! I was unable to find any green peanuts due to the fact that peanuts are out of season and I couldn't find any green peanuts where I live, so I decided Normally I don't like raw peanuts out of the shell, but we had to give them a try and they weren't bad! I wish to emphasize that these are sum high quality products. I love nuts! As I have stated before, I will repeat it again THIS SUMMARY IS HIGH QUALITY I love nuts! In the second bartender's case, the leghorn was not that good, so I smoked my own for two days before boiling it. It remains to be seen if the third guy will deliver his to P The winner of the nut tasting council will be the one who comes up with the best one!
I am really hopeful that I will It's all I can say, if you're going to boil these suckers, you should put more salt than usual on them, because they can handle Trying to season pork shoulder/Boston butt is like trying to season a pork shoulder. Getting to the point where you can taste it requires a lot of seasoning. I am so happy with this My next task is to roast some of them. It is something I have never done before but I am willing to experiment!.
Here are a few shipping details first It is my home state of Oregon that I reside in This previous Saturday, I ordered some peanuts, and today, the next Thursday, they arrived via UPS. That was fast, if I may say so. It appears that these peanuts are much better than the ones I've been buying for the local jays, and they are exactly half the price of the ones I've been buying in My first impression upon seeing the peanuts came while I was releasing them from their shipping bag I was impressed with their There are almost no broken ones, on average they're very big, and they're as clean as they can possibly It's not like I didn't see that coming, but 25 pounds of peanuts is a lot of peanuts, so now I'm storing them in the garage.
You can choose from a variety of sizes and they are clean. I often have squirrels knocking on my glass door for more peanuts in my backyard.
