Since I have been using this seed for several years, it has never germinated or grown. I don't have any waste at all because there are birds and squirrels in my yard that eat everything in my yard. In other words, nothing more can be grown.
There are quite a few seeds in this container However, I have found this Deck bird seed works for me because it does not contain hulls, like sunflower seeds, and my condo neighbors have no longer complained about the mess in their yard caused by my feeder.

Any spills are eaten up by squirrels and chipmunks immediately. There is only one complaint I have with it, which is that it is so popular with birds that a 5 pound bag goes I have updated My discovery of why the "birds" ate so much led me to a theory. When the feeder is outside in the evening, I now move it inside.
I agree with those before me this is a high-grade, fortified seed that is clean, easy to handle, and easy to store. It is served in conjunction with other no mess/no waste bird food brands, and the birds adore My wife and I ordered it here on Amazon, only to realize this is the same seed I shop for at Walmart for less than half the price. A Commodity Company Limited d. Commodity Company Produces 3 wild varieties of delicacy seeds as well as this variety There is no difference between the seeds from D Pet Products and those of RR Pet Products. By calling and researching their website, I was able to verify this information. If you want to save some money, now you know where else you can buy it. It's good to have options, but if you want to save even more, you have other options.
I was expecting high quality waste free food for the price, but these are not it. First, there are a lot of whole peanuts. I mainly feed finches, so they pass on peanuts. Secondly, the blend looks like any cheap seed type I've seen. $16 is the price point for Kaytee which is the best waterfree for smaller birds. The price for ten copies is 99 cents. The price of this shopping basket at such an inflated level must have been inflated due to my intoxication.
It attracts many birds of all kinds, as seed seeds don't have shells. That's why it is such a delightful sight to watch birds of all kinds. There is a lot of usage, so it does go fast. If I put the whole bag in my feeder, I won't need to empty it at all Within a week, it was gone. Since it costs more to do it that way, I put it out a little at a time to make it last In this case, it is slightly more expensive, but because it is pure seeds you can eat it all, without shells all over the place. It has been a joy to have Cardinals, Blue Jays, and Dark-Speckled Warblers Several species of woodpeckers, Golden-Eyed Juncos, Finches, Titmice and Jays can be seen. Last night, I saw a dove floating in the sky. More than one kind of bird visits my feeder daily In my capacity as a new birdwatcher doing some research, the species listed were just what I was able to identify.
That is not the case. Several species of birds dislike it, including juncos and finches. In addition, they don't like the sunflower seeds and there are too many too large peanuts. Interestingly, they did not seem to mind the sunflower seed in the Despite the unusual aroma, this blend is pleasing to the taste. It was mistakenly sent to me the same mix (as the one in the pic of the previously mentioned seeds) when I bought one bag. This should make the seed easier to chew for their tiny beaks. I've been putting the seed through the food processor to make it chew-friendly. The song still has not become a hit My obsession with birds is turning me into a COVID!.
The product I am reviewing has been used by me before I purchased it in In order to purchase it after the store stopped carrying it, I turned to Amazon. The products I ordered looked like this when I received them
It costs about twice as much at the big box store as it did in the mall. Sadly, there is no larger size that I can find to bring down the price.
Despite the low price, the quality of the product is excellent and there is no waste (no shells and no millet that gets dumped on the ground to grow) to handle. The following are the three points to be covered. As long as your feeder is capable of handling large seeds, this part will work with most feeders. The nuts can clog small feeders or those with tight feed tubes since they are large and can clog some of them. This is generally a great product, but I reduced the rating by two stars because I was paying twice the price when I bought it.
1) The mess caused by the shelled seed in my yard is gone, and I no longer have to deal with undesirable plants bursting forth from seed dropping to the ground. When planted in the ground these seeds don't sprout (if any are left afte It is the feeding of birds that allows them to **2) I love There are even squirrels that live there Do not rush through this process as fast as you did when you did I don't understand why shell seed is so popular. It ought to be easier for them to eat it, since they won't have to remove the shells, but they seem to consume it slower than they do with the in-shell ones There are two kinds of shells. The number of times I fill feeders has reduced from 3 to 2, where it was 3 times per week I'm filling them every day with shell seed. As a bonus With this seed, I am now attracting a wider variety of birds. Finches, Cardinals, Red-breasted Mergansers are becoming more common in my garden A few of the 'bullybirds' like Grackles and Tanagers are being observed as well Birds of prey. That one is a mystery to me, but I am glad that it worked out.
There is a battle for a spot at my feeder between my birds. A very good variety of food was available. Birds line up on a nearby fence to wait for a chance to feast at the buffet. It doesn't bother me that squirrels eat some of our fruit and nut trees because they need to eat as well. A birdbath with fresh water is ten feet from the feeder, so the birds can drink and bathe. This is something they use a lot! I will be the first to arrive. The first to arrive will be served!.
