Questions & Answers

What do these look like ?

This does not mean that they are Isn't it great! Our birds are in love with

I see that other sellers recommend that raw feed be avoided. Do these need to be roasted or boiled first?

As I do with my birds, I feed them as well. Among the documents available on the Wild Birds Unlimited website, they say they cannot find scientific documentation that claims feeding nuts to wild birds is harmful.

They look delicious, but are they edible? What are the reasons for not doing so?

It is not uncommon for me to roast them for the birds and to consume them. There is some variation in quality, but they are good when they are. Of course, I'd eat them if I was in the mood for Raw but not in its raw form.

Do I have to buy five ten pound bags or one large bag equivalent to 50 pounds?

Unfortunately, I have no idea how to respond to this question. My favorite is the 10# bag, which I get about once a month. We recommend you contact Amazon or the third party seller if you know of I wish you the best

Spending money that is wasted
3/5

The peanuts in my yard are so strange, I don't know how to describe them. First, I can say that the different breeds of birds in my yard do This is the first time I've seen something like it. The nuts appear to be defective, and the peanuts give way to moisture at the slightest touch. As if they were made of If they are covered with morning dew, they can forget about rain. I love it! Having wasted my own (and the birds') money, I wasted the birds' money as well. It doesn't matter to them at all, since the squirrels eat any food they can get their hands on.

My birds were thrilled with them, and they were a good price! put some in a squirrel-proof nut feeder in Seattle, and they attract nuthatches, chickadees, flickers, jays, and a few Once they figure out this feeder, we see them numerous times a day
5/5

The larger birds have a little difficulty landing on it, but once they figure it out they come back. There is a tendency for one peanut piece to jam about once every three months, but that is just like other feeders, so I have no complaints. As soon as people hear about them, they go fast.

Does the bird population seem to be less interested in these? I really like these
3/5

They're very clean and have a great look to them. Despite this, I am using these during the winter, and the birds are not interested in In the end, I mix them with the light brown meal works that I eat right away. What I am left with is a feeder full of these nuts. I have previously used other peanuts that I think the birds liked far Although they didn't look as nice as they should have, they were still great.

You can put them in shells and save the mess! For the past eight months, I've had a family of squirrels living on my balcony
5/5

There is a visit every four hours. My hands are full now, so I can eat as well! Peanut pickouts greatly improved my situation, as I was leaving whole peanuts. What Thank you for the pickouts. . . I'm glad I found them. They are very popular among my little buddies!.

It's great to be able to feed the birds half the pieces
5/5

It's great to be able to feed the birds half the pieces. The Blue Jays are the only birds that can handle whole peanuts, but cardinals can only handle half of them. I have ordered other types of peanuts and found this is the only bird that can handle whole nuts. There are so many advantages to these and they arrive in a convenient, resealable packaging A bag that can be closed.

The perfect size for squirrels and birds
5/5

Winter is a good time to make sure the birds, chipmunks, and squirrels are well fed. My favorite part of the half pieces is that most birds can eat cannot break the candy into smaller pieces will chew on it. In recent months, I have had flying squirrels only come to my feeder at night because they know exactly where to look.

How Many Brands of Peanuts Do Blue Jays & Squirrels in Florida Eat? I've seen a bunch of varieties of peanuts around Florida, but I don't understand why squirrels and Blue Jays seem to prefer this one
5/5

I have tried a lot of other brands, but they always seem to prefer this one. Although I read that roasted peanuts should be the only food for wildlife, for some reason none of them seem to touch roasted peanuts. We have tried about 3 different peanut brands and none of them are as good as this brand. But they keep coming back for more when they don't have this brand.

It is a no-mess bird treat and birds love it! They are cleaned of the shells and hulls, so there is no mess around the feeder to clean up, and they are not attracted by In addition, they are fragmented into smaller pieces so that they are enjoyable for the birds
5/5

Whenever they pick one up, the birds eat it. They never scatter them on the ground when they pick up the seed. The feeder will remain clean, so there will be no messy debris around it. So as not to get wet, I place them in a metal mesh feeder under the eave. The birds had a happy winter all due to you. It would be wonderful if they were cheaper so that I could feed more, but you do get a lot for your money when you buy peanuts.
