Despite its ease of removal, the predator guard is designed for long-term use. Making your own predator guard using some basic woodworking tools allows you to use the birdhouse for many different bird species, making the birdhouse perfect for many different species of birds. A bird enthusiast would enjoy it
5/5

After a week I put this birdhouse in the barrel and burned it with the cardboard. Okay, there has to be a story there. I got a bunch of stuff from my wife for my birthday. She used my account to order the stuff and she told me not to look at any of my orders or notifications. So first of all, it was my birthday close at hand. Perhaps you have realized how difficult it is to do that. Despite the challenges, I made it. Thanks to the reading ban being lifted within a few days was a great relief. I bought a birdhouse among the items I received. These posts make a nice gift for bird enthusiasts. I use 4' x 4' posts to mark my property lines every couple hundred feet and I follow that up with a bird house of some kind. A post from an ancient fence (left over from the old fencing) had to be replaced, so she insisted on replacing Therefore, she thought it would be helpful to help me when I needed a new birdhouse. As soon as I asked her for it, she set the birdhouse out on a bench on the deck with the goal of installing it within Then the next morning, I discovered nesting material all over the apartment. I am guessing it is a record, or at least in the top percentile, for the shortest period on The bluebird already had a claim on the property and had already moved It lay on the bench just like that. Because it would be rude to move it, I didn't do so. By the time night fell, it was sure she had filled the box with nesting material. I let the dog out after dark for the next couple of nights, and she poked out her beak and a single eye to watch me. After a few days, my wife emailed me at work asking what I had done with the birdhouse.

The birdhouse remained empty for two days. I told the Beagle not to disturb the bird. Then nothing I said matters. It still is where it should be. Was that not the case? On that evening, I found the birdhouse about ten feet away from the deck and the predator protector didn't help to preserve it. The nest does not appear to be protected from beagles by the cover. As soon as he got his paws on the birdhouse, my Beagle snatched off the roof and broke it into two pieces, as well as laid waste to much Her smile must have been priceless as she chewed away on that. Thus my new birdhouse was tossed in the burn barrel the following day. A week was not enough time to complete the task. As for the second order, I placed one You will need two posts one for the post and another for somewhere near There's no way either of the new nest boxes will be claimed nearly as quickly as this one. I expect there will be complaints locally against this birdhouse in particular. I don't expect the new boxes to be claimed nearly as quickly as this one. I learned from this story to never trust your Beagle and mount the birdhouse immediately in a safe spot, even in situations where an active nest builder is frustrated by it. Besides being great, this birdhouse is also very functional. These two new birdhouses will last me just a little bit longer than the last pair.

Construction of a solid nature
5/5

The plus side. They're going at different places around the home and I bought 3 of them. Building the house was a sound decision. If you hang it on the tree, there will be no problem with it falling apart. In order to attach the cage to the trees, I drilled two holes in the back of it, and wound some coated flexible wire through the holes. As of our last update, they were only up and in place since the start of winter (we wanted to get them up, set up, and weathered before They have already drawn the attention of eastern blue birds. It's been a while since anyone has taken up residence, but so far, everything looks as though the houses are attracting their attention. It is easy to open them and clean them The little metal clip at the front can be turned to give you a view into the interior. If you live in an area where western bluebirds are present, it comes with a slightly larger opening as well. All you have to do is replace the block of wood around the opening. The overall design was impressive, and the quality of the product was excellent for the price. At the beginning of April, there are two bluebirds living on both houses. If I recall to take some pictures at some point, I will post them. The following is the second update At the third house, we now have a couple of tufted titmouses living. Two of the houses are home to bluebirds, and the third houses are home to titmice. We have now seen three sets of bluebird hatchlings in the first house at which bluebirds lived As far as I can tell, everything is going well They are like new when they arrived), and their houses are like new.

I liked how it turned out
5/5

The bar was raised for blue bird houses with the 3/24/19 update. I liked how it turned out. There is a lot of interest from blue birds. This is the first time a clutch has fledged successfully. The number of babies is 5. Unfortunately, there is also an invasion of the house sparrow, which loves There is only one way to get them away from here I must help the blue birds. A House Sparrow will destroy a bluebird's nest and kill both its parents as well as her young. It is not a government agency There are invasive species in our native birds that do harm. My bluebirds raised 4 clutches that all fledged successfully from a single clutch on 3/24/2019. I have had it for 2 years and it looks the same as far as wear and tear is concerned. We found an egg nest yesterday and four eggs in it. Blue birds are easy to get if you follow these steps It is best if the mount faces an open area. A mount between 5 and 7 feet tall is recommended. The face of the building opening away from incoming storms is what I prefer, so towards the east or north. It is best to mount it on its own pole with a baffle if possible. Even though I mount my camera on a fence, raccoons have raided nests in the past (old It is a good idea to clean Your feeder should be filled with mealworms. There will be no difficulty finding them and they will I wish you all the best!.

The roof of this birdhouse has a crack in it
3/5

I found it difficult to review an item that arrived damaged, but here's what I wrote Although they have some damage, they are reasonably priced and look beautiful. I would have given them five stars if not for the damage. However, one of them had a cracked roof, which was probably caused by a seized attachment screw, not by From right to left, the crack is parallel to the grain of the roof from the screw hole on the left. You will see that many people had the same issue if you search the reviews. It is most likely that this would not have happened if the manufacturer made the grain of the wood follow the slope of the roof. It would be helpful if he read some reviews to see if there is an issue. Re-creating the email takes a lot of time and effort As I pack the box and drive to the UPS store, I will attach the top and hope for the best. In the meantime, the bird house is on my work bench waiting for me to get some Elmer's glue.
