Our dog has been taught to go on Astroturf so that there is a spare outdoor dog bathroom available to him. In general, he is able to use it just fine once he understands what it is.
I really like how easy it is to use and also to clean a piece. It appears very real and feels soft to the touch. The only pack we ordered did not cover much space, so it did not cover much area. I'll be ordering more soon.
I had no idea how much I'd be covering with minimal space. However, there are interconnections I used connecting mats to connect the two sides. Thanks for your kind words.
You'll have an easy time reaching your teen years. I would not recommend this.
The photos of the product led me to believe that this was more than inexpensive artificial turf. The cheap astroturf I should have bought would have been a better option. This fake grass is matted down and made of astroturf knock off material that does not mimic grass at all. I bought a small bag of cheap plastic grass blades, but the blades are 1/4 the length of the ones shown in the pictures. This results in an overpriced product. You should be careful when you buy Considering this is not even a close replica of grass, it is not appropriate for those looking for an authentic puppy potty space. It's only really good as a temporary solution when you're waiting for your puppy to pee outside. It only has one benefit that is the size of the mat (I bought the largest), which is the perfect size for an 8-week-old puppy. It is not something she will go near.
