To begin, draw a boundary line all the way around the cutting areas you want to use. After that, the mower repeatedly tries to eat the line. After hours of battling, you finally get it to mow away from the line, but it gets stuck every three feet on flat grass. I strongly advise against using it!

For the past three days, it has only mowed the border. Then it's back to the charger for a few hundred laps.
We couldn't use it because the description didn't mention that the mower's minimum corridor width is nearly 9 feet. (The mowing boundary must be 14 inches away from the boundary wire, and there must be a minimum of 6 inches between the wire and the mowing boundary. ) The distance between the boundary wires should be 5 feet. We didn't even try to set this up because we have two five-foot passages that our old McCulloch couldn't get through, so I can't comment on the rest of its mowing capabilities. We chose it because it was the most like the old English one in terms of slope handling.
I really wanted this to work, but it hasn't completed a full run without crossing the boundary after two weeks. Every day, I start it up, and whether it's 5 minutes or two hours later, I find it outside the boundary wire, in various locations, and occasionally on the road! My lawn is straightforward, consisting of a square yard with a single tree in the center. However, the little guy appears to be perplexed by it. I'll try again, but it appears that my little mower companion will be returned to the factory.
