Questions & Answers
This is a thick 14 gauge wire, so I wouldn't try to splice it into your original Husqvarna wire unless it's also 14 or 16 gauge. I wouldn't try splicing anything smaller than 16 gauge (to this wire) because the results might be unpredictable. br>Thank you for contacting me today with your question. Cheers.
I'm not sure, but I used it on a Husqvarna automatic mower and it worked perfectly.
This is 14 gauge wire, which is far too thick. I had to give it back to them. Call WORK and inform them that you require additional wire for your Landroid. They also sent me some extras for free.

I attempted to use this to replace a section of wire that had been repeatedly damaged by cars stretching out the stranded wire when they parked on my grass. I also needed to change the way a section of the wire was laid out in my lawn, so I used this. I've had to trace weak signals / cut lines on an acre-sized installation for the past three years and have had great success each time. This was so aggravating that I finally gave up and hired an installer to assist me in determining what was wrong. He emerged, attempted tracing, and found himself in the same predicament. When he explained the situation to Husqvarna, they told him that for a single installation, he needed to use the same gauge wire. So. Despite the fact that this wire appears to be incredible - is extremely thick, and while I believe it would be ideal if I were starting from scratch, it is not suitable for existing installations. It would be fantastic if the manufacturer clarified some of the caveats.
My Husqvarna Automower 450x had no problems with it. Keep in mind that one reviewer stated that it does not work well when adding to a different gauge wire, but it works great for new installations. My neighbor used OEM Automower wire, which is stranded, and had several broken parts from the installation because the OEM wire seemed brittle when trying to make tight corners or even pulling tight and applying pressure from staking down the wire; I confirmed this with OEM and wire broke when bending. This Heavy Duty Wire, on the other hand, performed admirably in a new installation. When I installed it, I abused it by making some extremely tight (nearly perfect 90 degree corners) corners, and it worked perfectly the first time I plugged it in. For initial installation, I would strongly advise purchasing this or another heavy-duty solid wire.
This was used to replace a Husqvarna cable that had cracked and frayed. This cable is extremely thick and made of solid copper cores. Husqvarna's OEM cable was a stranded cable that was prone to breaking. Larger connectors will be required, but I believe this cable will outlast the previous one. In a year's time, I'll let you all know.
This product is advertised as being compatible with a Husqvarna robotic mower loop wire, but it is not. It might work for an external boundary, but not for a guide wire or internal loops.
It did exactly what it needed to do, and it did it well.
I also use an internal loop, which works well. br>br> Because this wire is much thicker than the 22ga wire that came with the mower, you'll need connectors that are the right size. br>br>However, I wish the color was a little less vibrant.
Worx's thin stuff is far superior.
