This is a complete waste of time. In addition, the firm is a sham. This is the company for you if you want a product with no more than a YouTube video channel for product support. The cost of a robotic lawnmower starts at $700. $800. I got the Minimo 500, which cost me more than $800. If you manually shut the machine off, it says it must be started from the mower itself, not the app, which is not the case. However, because the device only connects to Bluetooth on a sporadic basis, you're out of luck. Returning to tech support, you can look it up on the internet. Customer service has no phone number listed anywhere, so you'll have to rely on email if you're lucky enough to get a response. They are also located in Europe. So if you do what they say in aMercia and it doesn't work, you email them, but they're all sleeping at home. So you've been exchanging seven one-line emails for a week and still haven't received a response. They are deserving of a negative ten, but that isn't an option. Finally, if I'm having this much trouble right away, what will you do if a warranty issue arises in 9 months? Email until you're sick of it, then mail it back to Europe if you're lucky, because there isn't a single service center or dealer in the United States other than Amazon. This is not a matter of personal preference. Take a look at their website; this business is a shambles.
This mower is new to me. My backyard is a little steeper than most, but it's still quite large and fenced in. I bought it to keep it mowed so I could focus on the front yard. br>br>If you take your time and watch gardena's YouTube videos on the installation, you should be able to do it yourself. It's ridiculously simple to do. Don't listen to the knuckleheads who can't even put a wire in the ground. br>br>I started the mower without pre-cutting my grass to see how it would perform on a fairly long lawn. Yes, it hasn't been successful in obtaining some of it. The slope and the long grass have combined to create this effect. However, I'm blown away by how far this little mower has come. Yes, they are more expensive than other robot lawn mowers on the market. This item is exactly what it says on the tin. If you're not handy with tools, you might want to save a little money and get one without a boundary wire. If you're looking for a good starter mower but don't want to spend $2,000 on one with all the bells and whistles, this is the mower for you. br>br>As an aside. Stripes on your lawn can be harmful to it. There are no tracks on this mower. If you mow your lawn with a robot lawn mower, it won't leave any stripes, so it'll get greener and greener over time.
It will take some time to get everything set up correctly, particularly the boundary wire, and it will take time to get rid of the uneven spots in your lawn. However, with a few minor tweaks, such as filling in holes in the lawn, the results are stunning, and my lawn already looks better than it has in the past. It's so quiet that I can't hear it in the house and even have trouble hearing it outside. The mower moves in a random pattern, which I didn't like at first, but now I see the benefit because it hits uneven spots in my lawn at different angles, which really helps even them out. So far, I've been quite pleased with my mower, which I've dubbed MOW- bi LAWN, Obi-Wan Kenobi!.
Every night, this rogue has kept our lawn mowed! I've set it to run at 1am so the yard is trimmed when my puppies go out in the morning, and you can't even tell it's running because it's so quiet! It looks fantastic in the yard. THE BEST INVESTMENT I'VE EVER MADE!.
They promise a 5400sf area but my robot quits after 30 minutes and my area is only 400 sfeet. The rpm for cutting is so low that it is only cutting some grass, the moving speed is too fast, they don't give you spare cutting blades what a BS, the battery quits after 30 minutes and has less than 320 charges, you will have to buy a new one in less than a year.
Only in small yards should this be used. Work is going at a glacial pace. Only use in small yards or where the grass is short. I'm extremely dissatisfied with this outcome. When it comes to price vs. performance, the value is extremely low.
You won't have to mow your lawn again if you simply follow the directions.
