I did not see any predator engines mounted, but rupp used two stroke 50 cc and 90 cc engines on their bikes, and they are about the same size with a three speed gearbox, as they have many customer mini bike pictures. On my daughter's go kart, I swapped out the old Briggs motor for this one. Due to interference with the seat, the gas tank had to be relocated, but everything else bolted up perfectly. It's simple to get up and running, and it idles quietly. It arrived in good condition.

This is what I used to replace the 79cc monster moto engine. Significant frame modifications and machined spacers were required. It's not a problem for me because I've been a mechanic my entire life, but it might be difficult if you don't have a variety of hand and shop tools. This thing, however, was sick when it was finished. The old engine could only move me if the ground was flat, and I had to walk to start it. I can now climb hills at 35 mph after replacing the engine! My 12- My 12-year-old daughter climbed aboard and did a wheelie across the driveway and into the pine trees. She hasn't ridden it in a long time. It turned out to be exactly what I had hoped. Complete honesty: I also put in a cold air intake kit, a straight pipe header, a performance centrifugal clutch, rechained it, and replaced the rear sprocket. YMMV.
Unboxed the engine, prepped it with oil and gas, turned on the choke, and it started right up. This will go on a beer crate racer and should do fine.
Because Briggs no longer makes a replacement for my log splitter's 20-year-old Briggs engine, I purchased this. I wasn't expecting it to just snap into place, but the previous reviews suggested it was worth the extra effort, which it was. I had to drill a couple of new mounting holes in the frame and rotate the recoil starter a few degrees, but it was love at first yank when I fired this puppy up. The engine is fantastic, and the price is unbeatable.
This engine arrived in excellent condition and on time; I filled it with oil and gas, and on the third pull, it fired up and ran smoothly. On my log splitter, it replaces a 5 horsepower motor.
For use with a wood splitter, this is the ideal replacement. The dimensions in the diagram are approximate. The hydraulic pump was bolted in place with no problems. There were no extra parts or modifications required.
