Questions & Answers

Does this have the same detachable shaft as the Greenworks GMAX 40 Volt straight shafttrimmer?

Attach this to a Greenworks 14" trimmer equipped with attachment capabilities. As with the 12" trimmer, the 13" trimmer has an "attachable shaft", however, it only couples with other attachments from GreenWorks.

The Ryobi battery trimmer has a shaft connector on it. Will these work on that trimmer or does it not ?

A line of Ryobi 40v yard tools is referred to as the "Expand-It" line. The Ryobi gas model used in this edger product line also uses these kinds of attachments. You can watch a review of this edger on YouTube. In the past, the Expand-it attachments have been compatible with both the gas and battery models, so if this edger is compatible with the gas model, I don't see any reason why it cannot work on the battery model. However, Ryobi does have another 40v tool line designed with attachments, which have motors built right into the attachment. Edgers such as this one do not work with this

What is the model number of the Poulon ?

Although I am inclined to believe it might, I do not know for sure. Poulon can answer your questions. My weedeater has a Craftsman 4 cycle engine, which is probably a Poulon product.

My 3 year old phone is working fine
5/5

I purchased it 3 years ago. So far, it's been no problem for me. There is about a quarter acre of property with a driveway and sidewalks and curbs on both sides of the road. Depending on the need, I edge the entire thing weekly or biweekly. Sadly, the majority of my front yard edging had been taken over by my neighbor's zoysia grass (which is a very aggressive and thick grass). With this attachment attached to a basic 4 stroke Troy Built, edging is not difficult. If I have neglected the edging for some time, I would have to make a second pass, but given the price range, that is not really the attachment's fault. This attachment feels the same as the one I have on my weed wacker, though it is My engine model is designed to ride on the wheel, so the extra weight is only noticeable when the engine is started, switched, etc. Here's a top tip for you The blade had been worn out for three years, and has just been replaced. A fresh blade works much better than an old one. It's definitely worth it to replace your blades each year since they are so expensive. I waited a long time. Don't do what I did. A shameful picture can be seen here. The blade on this attachment is on the right and thus spins clockwise this attachment also contains the blade on the right. As a result, the blade is held in place by a left-handed nut. The standard convention is therefore to turn the knob in the opposite direction in order to tighten/loosen The right way to do it. I wouldn't call it right tight. Many people commented that there are no shaft locks, which makes it difficult to remove the blade when it gets stuck. Even though a lock would have been nice, I jammed a rock between the blade and the guard and, with a standard socket wrench, I loosen the nut in a matter of seconds. It would probably work as well to use a wooden piece. You can use the same trick on mowers as well.

The results are awesome and the process is easy
5/5

I was able to set it up in less than a minute. As it took some practice to align the blade properly between the sidewalk and the lawn in the first cut, it was a challenging task. There were a couple of times I was overconfident and cut the number of leaves I wanted to which was not It was easy to use this edger again after the second time and it was easy to use it for the third time. It gives a lawn a nice look and makes it stand out from the rest. The blade compartment will get clogged with mud right after rainfall. So I recommend avoiding using it right after rainfall. The puddy knife I usually carry to do this (make sure to disconnect the spark plugs before doing the job) can be used to clean it out. In general, I have not been bothered by any problems with this purchase and am very satisfied with it.

After moving into a nice house with a huge yard, I decided it was time to get rid of the expensive lawn service I'd been using for over a decade
5/5

My laptop has now been with me for 5 years. In addition to my third blade, I'm about to purchase another one Where I live, it's used once a week from mid March through late September/early October. I use it with I've been able to change my blades easily compared to others. As far as I know, I have experienced only one problem with this machine the height adjustment knob usually vibrates loose every time I use it, so I have to retighten it after use. It was purchased when I finally ditched the professional lawn service I'd had since moving into a nice home with a big yard. Now with this and a trimmer I'm doing a better job.

Perfect fit for Koblat 80v Weeder
5/5

The reason I bought this was that I hoped it would fit my Kobalt 80-volt weedeater I bought We are very happy to inform you that this product fits and works perfectly. Nevertheless, it does put a strain on the battery. Hopefully, I should be getting my second battery soon, so there should be no problems after that.

A good edger has finally been created
5/5

Despite my knowledge that edging my yard is silly, I've struggled to do so It can be difficult to keep some tools running smoothly, others can't cut straight to save their lives, and still Buying this to use with my Husqvarna 129LD trimmer (accepts attachments) was a wise purchase as it was among the few edgers that As soon as I received the cutting tool I was shocked to see a flat, dull blade, thinking "how can this make better cuts than the sharp, serrated tools I had been using?". Nevertheless, I hooked it up to the head unit and set out on my journey. When I compared this unit to other similar ones from Ryobi, Craftsman and Echo, the first thing I noticed was how light and short it was. Do not be fooled by illusions I am impressed with how tough it is and how perfectly sized it is.
After getting to work, this thing was so easy to maneuver and it had a large wheel that made rolling and maintaining a constant depth of cut a breeze. My 1/2 acre yard has a perfect edge, and it took me half as long to hard edge it using this thing. I can't tell you how effortless it Honestly, I rarely find myself recommending something that exceeds an expectation I had, even when it's something so simple as a yard tool. It was a pleasure to work with Poulan to make a tool that was From now on, I will definitely be a Poulan customer.

Trimmer attachment that is nice to have
5/5

The Husqvarna 128LD runs really well with this attachment. It revs up fast at quarter throttle, and as you ease the blade into the cutting edge, the tool makes quick work of cutting the edge. When you are using this attachment for the first time, it can feel like it can easily slip away from you, but with practice and technique it becomes Be mindful that you will attack the yard in a clockwise direction since the wheel has a blade on one side. Unlike my regular edger, the blade is on the right side of this machine, so plan your cutting In order for it to work best, the blade should just touch the concrete's edge just lightly. You will spark, but this is normal. Just don't blow a lot of sparks. Even though the results were not good on a lawn with runners etc. that was horrifically overgrown, I made two passes. My decision to go with this model was also based on the edger guard being metal. Another thing I liked is that there was a clip attached to it. A cover goes on the hanger to protect the attachment point. Fully assembled and ready to use, the attachment comes with all the parts it needs. All you need to do is change the depth of the blade and the wheel For an 8 inch wheel with a 1 inch center hole, the wheel is durable and the blades are easily available. In order to remove the arbor nut, turn it counterclockwise, and a flathead screwdriver can be inserted in the slot to lock in the position of the blade when it is being replaced. Considering its price, this attachment is a good buy.
