I was taken in by the illustration. This was a bonus feature. It was supposed to be a quart, but it was only 18 oz. I can get a quart of SAE30 oil for the same price as this product locally, so how anyone can call this a "great deal" is beyond me.
'Flavor' is a review item on Amazon, for example. To be honest, I gave the 'flavor' a five-star rating despite the fact that I did not taste the oil. I'm sure it's got all of the oily goodness you'd expect from drinking motor oil. br>br>I used this oil in a Briggs and Stratton lawn mower engine, and it worked fine, so I assume the oil did its job. br>br>Perhaps if this product came in a tangerine or strawberry flavor, I'd be tempted to drink a pint or two while watching a football game, but as it is, I'll stick to whiskey and cola.
This oil was once used in my lawn mower and presser washer. The dimensions are ideal for small lawn mowers and pressure washers that only use 15 - 20 gallons of water. Fill the crankcase with 18 ounces of oil. This oil is recommended because it was designed (with the appropriate additives) for small engines by Briggs and Stratton (engine manufacturer). Because certain additives, such as zinc (which helps with engine wear), burn up catalytic converters in cars, most car oils do not contain them. They also contain other additives that are unnecessary for small engines. Small air-cooled engines run hotter than a car engine and require an oil that can withstand the additional heat. This is a good conventional oil to use in any air-cooled small engine, and it should work fine if you change the oil once a year. For added protection, I changed my lawn equipment oil to a full synthetic small engine oil. This synthetic small engine oil is made by Briggs and stratton, Amsoil, and others, and is more expensive; however, if you're looking for a good basic oil for your small engine, you can't go wrong with it.
This is a high-quality small engine oil for lawnmowers and other small engines. br>br>The dimensions are ideal for filling a lawnmower's oil reservoir. br>br>Change your lawnmower's oil, punch your man card, and you'll be an ace handyman.
Every oil change on my lawn mower uses 17 ounces of oil. If I buy a quart, there isn't enough oil left for the next oil change, so I have to buy another quart, and the cycle continues. br>br>Instead, for my oil changes, I purchase this. I recycle the remaining 1 ounce of oil and don't have to worry about storing it.
I only have one lawnmower, and I don't change the oil nearly as frequently as I should. As a result, this is ideal for me. It's the ideal amount to change the majority of B's. Oil for small engines (S). I drain the oil into a tub, fill the mower, and then pour the pan into the empty bottle before dropping it off at an oil drop-off location. Even though it's slightly more expensive per ounce, it's more convenient than buying a quart.
I hadn't changed the oil in my Briggs and Stratton lawn mower in ten years, and I noticed that pulling the cord and starting it was becoming more difficult. I drained what was left and filled up with this oil after realizing my oversight and noticing that the oil was gel and dirty. Wow! It started up without a hitch and the pull was effortless. I've been running for months with no problems, so the oil saved my mower's life.
I really need to change the oil in my lawn mower. Dip sticks are never accurate for some reason. As a result, I either use too much oil or don't use enough! or a smaller amount of oil The dipstick confirms that I'm on the right track in terms of oil capacity. In any case, the only thing that can be done is to solve that vexing but simple problem. is to have a jug with exactly the right amount of oil. perfect . As a result, thank you very much; my mower is now running smoothly with the proper amount of oil.
