As the owner of a tree care company, I buy a lot of benches. I was using these for 2 weeks on the jobsite before they started bending and strippling my Bolts. Bolts have a sharp edge and are brand new. seems to be either too thin or too cheap. Even though I bought half a dozen of these during a sale, I am seriously disappointed with the product. We never had these problems with other brands of scratchers until we used them for years and years.
There was no doubt here about this purchase. The price of two, one with "STIHL" on it, was less than the cost of just one. Whenever you knock them into the leaves or brush that you are working in, their orange color makes them easy to see. Stihl chainsaws have triangular-shaped screwdriver tips that don't fit into the holes to adjust the chain. These screw drivers fit snugly in the hole and have straight tips. These are a bright, almost fluorescent orange from the picture, whereas I imagine it to be red.
The bottom line This should be used with a Kobalt (Greenworks) 80-series Pros 13. 5 volts, 13 mm, 13. 5 mm, 13 mm Pros The color of the paint is bright orange Paint that is made of heavy duty materials The price is great, but the cons are 2) Because the 13mm socket was a bit snug due to the paint, it was difficult to get the wrench on I found it to be a little time-consuming to switch off 2) the screwdriver tip was a bit too wide. Discussion Minor adjustments were required to make the above work 2) Filed the paint off of the inside of the 13mm socket side (didn't 2) filed both sides of the width down to about 1/32".
Even though others have complained that the wrenches and screw driver didn't fit, these worked perfectly on.
It has a crack on one of the peaks of the wrench swaging. A major pit exists on the weld of the handle/screwdriver. A large number of pits are visible in the powder coat finish. The above is on just one tool out of two. In the second, there was welding spatter and a pit in the finish, but on the whole, the piece was passable. Is this what you call.
There is no rocket science here. The scwrench is a scwrench. It is a plus that it is painted. Due to the tight fit of the 13mm, I deducted a point. Paint is likely to be the cause. It's not altogether difficult to seat it on the bar nuts, but it does take a bit of force. The inside paint on the bar nuts may wear off eventually.
My Echo and Stihl saws work well with these. The bolts fit great and the screw heads fit fine It is likely I will buy a few more since these tools seem to develop wings and walk off.
I had to cut off both ends of my dad's saw because the ends were too big. The only complaint I have is the flat head is either too large or too slippery to open my gas and oil caps without a problem, it's still possible, but it's not as simple as the Having them in orange makes finding them much easier than my original black one that I could not locate in my garage, which was why I ordered these ones. Weeks after it was found, I found it above my work bench. What do you make of that?.
