If you just go to the saw shop, you can get a gallon for the price of a quart.
Without a doubt, the best chainsaw oil. The oil has a thick viscosity and stays on the bar for much longer than other oils. Other, less expensive oils spray off the bar, but this one doesn't. Rather than replacing a bar, I'd rather spend a little more money on bar oil with better bar protection. It's more expensive, but it offers more protection than any other product I've tried. I believe it is well worth the money.
When you're done for the day, it coats the chain very well and stays on the chain. When you're cutting firewood for four hours straight, the chain and bar are sure to stay cool. It's all good.
My husband purchased it, but he stated unequivocally that it is the best chain saw available. He couldn't find it anywhere else and was thrilled to discover it on Amazon.
