On the other hand, if you look on the internet, the same oil can cost up to $50 per gallon. It cost me $12 at Lowes when I purchased mine (HUSQVARNA). 95 cents per gallon, plus CA sales tax. Where can I find a Lowe's for $8? 99 cents a gallon? At Tractor Supply, I found bar oil for $8. I'd never heard of this company before. However, it's likely to be equally as good. br> Back in 1997, when I bought my Husky saw, the bar oil was 3. The price of a gallon of gasoline is 95 cents. So yes, if you're going to do a lot of cutting, I'd buy it by the case at $8.
I use it all year and have never had any issues.
Of course, it's bar chain oil, which means it can't be mixed with gasoline for two-cycle chainsaws. This Husqvarna bar cost me a gallon. After Hurricane Irma, I purchased chain oil and a Husqvarna chain saw. I live in South Florida. Florida. Bar& Chain oil has a glue-like consistency that is superior to 30 weight motor oil. I sincerely hope I was of assistance.
It's a 30 weight oil, so I don't see why it shouldn't work.

This is fantastic. About a quart of this, a few cups of Fluid Film, and about 8 ounces of Lucas Oil Stabilizer are all I use. A cup of Bearing Grease liquefied into a little ATF, a quart of used motor oil, and a helix paint mixer in a drill to mix it all together. It makes no difference what the exact amount is. Then I use a Fluid Film pro undercoating gun to apply it. This bar and chain oil has a lot of "Tackifiers" in it, and it's made to stay on a fast-spinning chain as it passes through trees. This also makes it easier for it to stay on the underside of a car that has been blasted with northeast brine and road salt. Also, in my Stihls, this is a good chain oil. That's why I had it in the first place.
It's a thick oil. It'll be great for colder weather, but I used it in the middle of summer to cut down four large trees and found that the thickness wasn't feeding as quickly as I wanted, so I switched back to Stihl, which isn't as thick. In the cooler months, however, this would be ideal for sticking to the chain and consuming less product.
I bought it for a cordless electric chainsaw that was leaking a different brand of oil, according to other users. This oil does not leak and appears to have a longer shelf life.
But it was well worth the effort. Flavor? As part of a Chain Saw Oil feature? Check out your artificial intelligence, Amazon. But it was well worth the effort. To make it easier to use in my chain saw, I divide this gallon into four quart containers. As a result, I am able to obtain excellent oil at a reasonable price.
I grew up in the Northwoods, so I know what it's like to be cold. I had no problems using this throughout the winter. This is a bar oil that I will use all year. You can save money on some things, but not on others. With a chainsaw, you can't afford to be cheap. It's an overly important tool, at least for me. Particularly if you're 45 minutes out of town. This is a high-end manufacturer.
A new label has been applied to this product. PREMIUM BAR has been added to the menu. OIL IN A CHAIN. This is available for $12 at our Lowes in North Carolina. I'd gladly pay twice as much to avoid being around people who aren't socially awkward.
This bar oil has a much thicker consistency than the others.
