In my Husqvarna 576 XP chain saw and Poulan limb saw, I've used both green and black Poulan, as well as Husqvarna chain and bar oil, and I can't tell the difference in performance. Purchase the cheapest option.

It's too thick; the product needs to be diluted; it's so thick that I can't use it to lubricate the blade on my chainsaw. So I'll have to come up with something to thin it out, which is fine by me. I settled on dipping my blade in a small bucket every now and then. It's not for light or heavy saws, and my Poulan chainsaw is too thick. Now, the thing with Poulan is that it gets very hot, which helps the oil flow a little better, but by the time the saw gets hot, the blade has lost its temper and is weakening, reducing the cutting edge of the blade and wearing the clutch gear assembly, as well as the end of the guard gears that pivots over the edge of the tension. I recommend thinning by a third; I did this by mixing HusqV oil and water in a 50/50 ratio. I don't think anyone should have to put in this much effort to lubricate a chainsaw chain. Though, in the worst-case scenario, after sharpening the blades, it could be used as a dip and sit method. I can honestly say my oil looked old and thick, and I've had chainsaws for a long time. This isn't a good sign, and it appears to be a type of heavy gear oil, which any low pressure oiler won't tolerate well.
It's also a great fit for my other brands. It's the perfect consistency for lubricating without causing a snag.

97 for a gallon of gas. I use it in a husqvarna 128ldx 28cc pole saw and doubt you'll find a better price. Although it appears to use a lot of oil, I have several gallons on hand:.
It completed the task at hand.
When I purchased my Poulan chainsaw, I purchased extras.
I was able to get a name brand for a lot less money than I could have gotten locally. This is something I would recommend to anyone who prunes trees or limbs (the non-professional kind). Of course, we're talking about humans here).
It appears to be a good bar. oil from a chain I'm not an expert, but I found it to be effective. The only criticism is that the image on Amazon depicts "Poulan Pro" red label, black container, which is incorrect. This is just regular Poulan in a green bottle with a green container.
