The same holds true for mine. The battery should be the same between the two devices. Which battery do you use? A lithium or a nickel-cadmium
With the P2300A, no line is used the edger blade is used instead.
The manual states that any battery pack with the one+ symbol will work. With this device, I am using a P102 battery.
If you would like a charger or battery with it, you can order them separately. The order was placed without it. My existing batteries and charger already make it easy to charge them.

Using the edger for a short period of time would cause it to die. Because I used the same 18V battery for my Ryobi trimmer, I know the batteries weren't the problem. The Ryobi trimmer lasted a minimum of 40 minutes on the 18V battery I used on it. Also tried a different Ryobi drill battery with the same results. I used that same battery with my Ryobi drill and it worked fine. I charged the batteries and tried them both again with the same result. I returned the Ryobi edger to It was my batteries that caused the problem, so Absolut Lifestyle charged me 50% of the purchase price as a "restocking fee. ". In my communications with Absolute Lifestyle, I told them that I used two different Ryobi 18V batteries that were fine for my Ryobi trimmer and Ryobi drill, but the edger still died within five I emailed Absolute Lifestyle in response to my review stating that they did not understand how I could blame their product for my defective batteries when I explained to them that their batteries are in perfect working order. I have never given any products a poor review It is prudent for anyone who is considering doing business with Absolute Lifestyle to think twice. Ryobi drill and Ryobi trimmer are two of my favorite products, so I am very pleased with them.
I have used it four times and it has It has only been 5 weeks since I got it, so I called Ryobi. Because I bought it through Amazon and the seller is not an authorized seller, they refused to honor their warranty.
A good job is done by the edger. The light weight and simplicity of the design make it an ideal tool for travel. Because I wanted to make sure I didn't mislead anyone, I didn't give it five stars. There is nothing like this when it comes to gas edgers. There may be times when you have to move back and forth between some locations. As time goes by, I edge my yard all the time, so it never takes me long to finish- My back feels much less stiff when turning the weed eater in this way than turning it sideways.
As my sidewalks and driveway are so wide, I can also use it in the weeds to get out deep and pesky ones. Keeping it clean after I use the Ryobi air blower has its benefits. It kicks up quite a bit of dirt/sand, but it looks professional. All I have to do is learn how to use it properly to edging flower beds and I'll be set!.
It fulfills all of its promises. It has a good handle design. A steady glide is achieved by the guiding wheels. Good slicing is achieved. The depth can be changed by a lever. A good plastic cover right above the cutting edge allows you to precisely align the path in which you wish to perform the cut. Despite this, there are some quirks of which to be aware (this is why I gave it 4 stars I gave it five stars). A small capacity is the 1. "The small capacity one" is the 1. Battery life is only 10 to 15 minutes with a 5 AH battery. There was an extra one in the package. It is very expensive to purchase a 4 AH high capacity battery when the battery will last only a few hours. Despite the heavier battery, the whole edger is not as heavy as it seems and it balances very well. In 2/
The power belongs to those who know how to use it It is impossible to see the power level on the side facing you when the battery is installed on the edger, because the remaining indicator is printed in the battery when installed, so it is not just a matter of looking down and pushing a button when using it. The battery is located on the inside of the edger, which must be turned upside down to view it. Although it is not a big deal, it seems to be annoying. As you can see from the photo, the cut is less deep than One point less than the maximum is required. There are 5 inches between the minimum and maximum, and a zero between the two. There is a difference of 5 inches. It seems as if the difference should have been greater, or maybe between one and two Possibly there is a technical or cost reason for the change, but here are two things to keep in mind There is no need to go deeper than 5 inches.
I still think this is an excellent edger, and it's worth the money, regardless of what I wrote above.
In the case of the 1st item, or the only Ryobi item, go with a higher voltage We are fine with this for our 70' vessel. The inclusion of curbing & edging on wide lots The driveway edge is edging, and there are sidewalks.
There is a lot of power in this unit, and it is nice not to have to deal with extra power. I highly recommend it. It was my decision to purchase the battery/charger kit with the higher amp-hour capacity A battery with a life of two hours. The alternative batteries I've used have given me enough juice to make it through my entire driveway and street edges on one charge, with energy left over. For the first time, ( Despite edging being overdue, it was not implemented on time It was once necessary to use both batteries, but not for a long time afterward.
The light weight, ease, and speed make it an ideal choice.
