This may be the case. Craftsman Model No. This is designed to fit that model. This blade fits Model 7723, but it may also fit your edger if it accepts a 9inch blade with a 1/2" hole in the middle. On the website there is a compatibility chart.

This item is meant to replace the blades on a Craftsman 4 HP edger trimmer model no. These blades measure about 9 inches in length and have a center hole of about 1/2". You might be able to use it with your trimmer if it can accept a 9" blade and 1/2" hole. check out the website, you will see a list of trimmers that it's supposed to fit and if it's on the list, then it's supposed to

This edger blade is becoming harder and harder to come by! It fits perfectly with the original Craftsman edger and does not disappoint
