I can swap to the power head without a problem, and the tool handles tough things like butter like a warm knife through butter, and even has the capability to reach bigger objects you probably shouldn't. With only a couple of minutes, I'm doing grass trimming and clearing trails in a dense pine forest. I clear thick brush, tall grass and saplings, and in a matter of minutes am done pruning and clearing lanes!.
While it is still heavier on the end, therefore my back hurts a little more, I spend less time doing it and and I can cut it lower, thus reducing the time I have to spend on it. You may have to throw thicker stuff out of the way to proceed deeper into the brush with the weed eater-it doesn't sling away like a traditional weed eater.
