It has a "Viper" brand name and seems to be a Chinese copy of a Honda OHV engine without the lean-burn system The choke works at full power (no priming required) and the throttle is operated by hand. The kind of place you'd find in an old B&B The engine can be idled down to the point where you can almost count the firings. In general, the engine is much better than the typical "CAB" certified engine. Additionally, a centrifugal clutch ensures that the blade does not have to turn while it runs.
There are none that I was able to locate.
There is no adjustment for the wheels, but the blade can be adjusted.

The assembly was not too difficult but it took a long time. While I wanted to like this edger, I do not think it is worth the price. As the edger sits on the ground, it is not level. My wheels don't appear to be level even after readjusting and reassembling them. The machine does a satisfactory job of edging, but often gets stuck due to the fact that it isn't Similarly, the edger does not wish To prevent the engine from stalling, I have to keep the throttle engaged as soon as I adjust the choke to start edging. It appears to be a $200 edger, but really feel like a $300 one.
All you have to do is spend $250 and then do the work needed to get it working. There are parts of the motor that must be taken apart in order to get this going. Amazon refuses to accept my return even though it took gas when I had nothing in it even though I sent it back. I would advise you not to buy from Amazon. For the exact same price, you can buy it from Home Depot and have them assemble it for you. *Edit
After a while, I got it together and was able to use There was a problem at foot 51 with the rear tire and all ball bearings. There is nothing you can do about it. A replacement will be shipped from Amazon, but now I'll have to spend more time picking this stuff up. One hour was enough for this to work. Here is what the situation looks like one I put it away in dry storage after using it once. I cleaned and dried the abs before putting them away I have pulled on it 400 times and it has not moved. In the same way as all gas powered things, this thing is a waste. Electricity is the way to go.
There were some missing parts and parts were torn apart in the parts bag. In the end, we had to make do with what we had on hand. It is simple to begin A very small diameter for handle bars which makes it difficult to hold on to them It would be nice if there were a setting for the throttle on the right handlebar to keep open without constant gripping (this was EXTREMELY PAINFUL to my right forearm) In order to edge my fruit trees in a circle, I need to make circles. I wish there was a way for the front wheel to turn. I felt very stress in my arms during this process It would be nice if the handlebars could be adjusted in height. It takes me five feet three inches to stand at five feet three inches. In other words, this is a review based on my first use straight from the box. It would be great if the manufacturers actually read the comments from their customers. My. Oh my. This is overpriced and isn't worth the money. It is available at Home Depot for 90 dollars less, though as of now it is not available. My yard is an acre, so it will make it easier to take care of it by myself. I work out there almost daily and have an acre to look after. It can only be used for two trees at a time. We have one of those edgers that remove weeds and blades. My arms aren't strong enough to carry that weight, so I thought that I would walk behind it. There are demonstration videos that simply show a straight line. Circles are a creative way to get more creative!.
This assembly requires The tools you need include *metric combination or box end wrenches (in the range of 8 - 13 mm)*metric ratchet wrench (with sockets in the range of 8 - 13 mm)*metric slip-on tools The joint pliers are necessary to assemble this edger. You'll need patience and time to assemble it. From start to finish, it took my adult son and me about two hours. In total, it takes 4 man hours to assemble the unit, although a certain amount of that time involved unpacking and checking inventory to ensure we have all the parts needed prior to In my opinion, an individual can assemble the edger on his/her own. Having 3 arms or 8 arms (like Shiva) would be useful in that case. It is helpful to know how to use tools and have a basic understanding of mechanics when assembling things, even if it isn't rocket science. There is a video on Earthquake's website that shows a professional putting one of these together in about 30 minutes. The problem is that he has probably done this a hundred times before, while it will probably be your first and last time assembling Here are some points to keep in mind (Purchase of this model is not optional) This model (23275) does not come with curb attachments. You have to purchase it separately (and it can be expensive). There is no doubt that the engine is powerful enough to handle the task. An edger does not need to be pushed in order to do its job. There are about 400 linear feet of lawn edging on each lawn, which can be done in 20 minutes or less.
Things to do Starting an engine with the choke fully open and two or three pulls will get it started when it's cold. You need to adjust the choke almost immediately after starting the engine so that it does not stall. It is of course possible to re-enter if you decide to Starting the engine with a warm engine, or on a warm day, may not require you to choke at all or you may only need a half-chopped engine. It has been reported that some people were unable to start the engine after the first time they used it. It's a mystery why that is so. Our problem is not a problem. Three things to keep in mind in this regard 1) turn on the "On-" The "Off" switch needs to be turned on However, it will connect the ignition in order to start the engine, not itself start the engine. 1) don't open the choke too much if it is a warm day or you have just used the machine a little bit The carburetor might flood if you do that 2) Pull the cord slowly but steadily do not pull too hard or too.
This one for $200 seemed to be the best because the other one out there for $200 had reviews that scared me (leaking gas and oil, yikes), and the next one is almost $600. My assembly took a lot of time. The first part is easy and the second part is a little tricky, but take your time and you'll do well. It will take you about The issue that others report is not mine. The box is fine, the parts are fine. There was a little clear oil dripping from the air filter, so I looked inside and believe that it may just be factory oil in the cylinders oozing from When assembled, I gassed up and made sure it was clean. Once it was installed, I put oil in and it worked fine. I gently pulled the cord 3 or 4 times just to make sure it rotated smoothly, and it did. I could easily pull it once it reached full rotation. Boom! It was up and running in no time! After tapping the choke back so that the idle would become mellow, I was surprised at its smoothness. As far as the trigger throttle is concerned, I also enjoy it. It took me a few minutes to figure out how to do this and my driveway now looks great. Next Sunday, we're going to try out the flower beds! with how things have gone.
Surprisingly, it has a lot of heavy-duty This is a great product that I've been using for a few months without any problems. The best thing you can do is get extra blades since the stock blade that is included seems disposable, not reusable.
