The only time I have used it so far is twice, but I am really feeling the benefits. Being able to do yard work without having to deal with wires makes my life SO MUCH EASIER. My wire is eliminated, so I don't have to worry about accidentally cutting it if I get it in the way. Instead of unwinding and rewinding the cord, you wrap it up once and then it remains tangle-free. If I use a wire, I usually realize long after I'm finished that I went to the other end of the yard and missed the spot. With a wire, I can walk back and get the spot all the way on the other end of the yard. I'm amazed at it. It took me some time to get used to the whole edging thing, but trimming and weeding have been easier than I had expected. It appears that the battery lasts for more than enough time. My yard had a lot of weeds, so the first time it took me longer than half an hour. I only had to switch it to the higher setting for a minute or two for some thicker weeds, but the lower setting was sufficient for the rest of the yard. It is heavy. Despite the fact that I don't have a lot of strength and a lot of back and shoulder problems, this trimmer did not cause me a lot Aside from being able to convert from trimmer to edger and back, it can also be adjusted very easily. Although it feels heavier than my corded electric one, I don't think it is any heavier than the one I used earlier. The new one (which is a lot lighter than the gas one I used to use) is a lot lighter than the old gas one and was a breeze to use. I used to use an electric hair dryer, but this one seems to be just as powerful. I will have to wait and see how this trimmer's battery holds up throughout the growing season, but so far I'm very pleased with it.

Having used this trimmer twice, I found the following to be its pros The last time I had it out I finished my big double sized yard with tons of tough weeds and tall grasses where they shouldn't be it did an amazing job, with just as much cutting power as a gasoline mower. The following are 2 cons that I found Due to the larger battery, it is heavier, which is hard on my It is a trade off, though, because the battery power lasted throughout the entire trimming job and for a couple of hours! A few minutes before the end, did not show any signs of weakness. Here are a few more cons You have to hold the battery by the cord for quite a while. My tired old hands muster up almost too much strength to handle such a task. There were a couple of times where I thought I would have to give up, but I finally succeeded. There's no problem fitting the battery into the charger, and it can be fully charged in a couple of hours. I'm not sure why the trimmer has trouble fitting it into the battery. There was a reason why the spool of string was not wound properly to begin with, so I had to take it out a couple of times and fix it. Nevertheless, it can be seen to be making good progress. You don't want to miss it. It's powerful, and I like it for that reason. The battery has to be installed manually by me and it can be a nightmare. The battery power trimmer I own is my second model. This is the first election since El-Sadr The Cheapo regime lasted for five years. That's all I'll need from it, so I'm hoping it will last a few years. It's been a long time now, I wonder how long it will be? Women over 72 (72+).
