The one I'm using is a 18" with an approximate 20000-pound weight. My opinion is that it should fit well, and it did
Furthermore, I was not able to find the knob either. The earliest method of changing the door is to replace it.
This door fit perfectly and looks amazing on my Weber smoker! I also replaced the OEM door.
There is a door made of aluminum on this wall. Even though it works well, it does not match the original's quality. It can bend without proper handling, so make sure you do it correctly.

My smoker had been dry for most of the summer and there was a healthy growth of mold growing on it. I thought the best way to get it clean was to burn up some super-duper-hot coals. Using the wood I have for my fire pit as a starter, I harvested dry white cedar from a tree I cut down. So I built the fire up to a good height so I could get an even layer of carbon on the grates as well. According to reports, the high-ranking official has told the truth. Even with a fire going, the thermometer handle and gasket thing can't match the heat created by the fire. In addition to the handle, a thermometer probe was shredded. It was a relief to find out that this replacement door and the new temperature probe gasket worked perfectly. As an additional measure, I inserted a fire-proof seal around the door and lid, and now I can set the temperature in the smoker much more precisely.
It's going to be hard to beat this one. In addition, the original cover had a broken handle and while in use burned 6lbs of home-cooked food Generally, pork (bacon) come from farm-raised animals. A bit overpriced in my opinion, but not willing to take the risk of another incident.
A few changes have been made to the design of the door that came with our smoker originally. There's an improvement because the new design fixes the door in a more secure position.
It looks original and is a perfect match. This would have been a 5 star review, but based on the price it fell to a.
According to expectation, this fits perfectly. The original door looks exactly like this. The only thing is, you might want to round off the door a little bit more with a can of paint so it's flush with the smoker's body. LavaLock gaskets have been added to the seal to give it a tight fit.
It fits well with no leaks.
The new door seems to be thicker than the old one. However, it was easy to install and worked the same way as the old one did before it died. A Weber SM is a lot of fun, so expect to use it a lot.
