Questions & Answers

A description of this product states that it measures 22" x 14" x 6" Do you really think it's that large? The box's measurements are given or the box's dimensions are given?

It holds a standard beer can and does take up 3/4 of the width of a rectangular sheet pan, but I'm not sure since I never measured it. Thanks for reading, I hope this helped

Do the contents of this Instapot fit into an 8qt model?

There will be no problem fitting the base. The amount of chicken that needs to go under the lid will vary depending on its size.

Do you think this would work for turkeys?

The size of the turkey will determine whether the idea is practical or not. It is not likely to be a large tufkey, but it may be a small one

Is the dish holder able to stay in place as you remove the chicken and is it relatively easy to clean up afterwards?

That's actually the case. Pulling off the chicken is done with a firm grip on the base. Dishwasher safe. You can put the stand in there.

An upright chicken should be cooked in the following way
5/5

If you want to cook beer can chicken, you should do it this way. With this holder, place chicken only. Do not fit beer can on it. You should allow as much air as you can into the cavity of a whole chicken so that the hot air from the grill can reach both the inside and the outside of the meat. You are preventing overcooking of the outside so that you are able to get the internal temperature up to a safe level (around 165 degrees). It is HIGHLY recommended that you read Meathead's guide to grilling before reading this book. In addition,.

You will not find a moister chicken than this
5/5

In addition, My problem with cooking beercan chicken each weekend was to keep the chicken upright and remove the can when it was done cooking, but with this can holder rack I can set it up in the middle of the pit without having to lean on the top rack to prevent it from falling over. Now that the stand is freestanding, I can drape bacon over the chicken to keep its skin from burning and add some bacon grease for flavoring. In the time it takes for the chicken to cook at 375° for three minutes I usually find that During the first 4 hours, the bacon on the outside has cooked completely after about 2 hours, so I take it off and put fresh bacon over it and let it cook through I've cooked two rounds of bacon on top of the beercan chicken by then, so the chicken is done for the night, and I'm too. Additionally, you can completely protect an external part of the chicken from burning by wrapping it in aluminum foil after it has browned to the desired degree of browning. Moreover, it was so moist that I had fluid pooling all over my plate when I made a chicken sandwich from this chicken. Please be aware that the background music of the video is loud, so save your speakers if you watch it.

Does not hold a standard 12-ounce can
3/5

A little LOL? Can you tell me how I might utilize a "beercan chicken rack"? Getting a beer butt chicken ready to cook. There's no way it fits into a standard 12-ounce can with its small diameter. I love it. It has returned.

Basically, it does what it says, but I still have a few concerns
3/5

Is it really necessary to cook a chicken and a can of liquid together to make chicken moist? As a matter of fact, beer can chicken doesn't moisten the chicken more than roasting does. A cold can and liquid within the cavity of the bird may slow the internal temperature down, which in turn could cause it to take longer to cook. Chicken roast is the same as chicken roast. If you don't own a beer, you can use the mount and it'll cook the chicken perfectly. Then the question arises, why do we do You're exactly right.

There are better options elsewhere

My opinion is that a beer can won't fit maybe a beer bottle will. There is no way the can of soup will fit or the can of pineapple slices, but the diameter was too small Furthermore, it is quite difficult to use it to ram the chicken butt in. Last but not least, you need a drip can underneath to collect drippings some other styles have an attached I don't say that this is bad - it worked, but it wasn't as convenient as I would have preferred. I gave it 3 stars because it was sturdy and held up well, it did not tip over and it was easy to clean afterwards.

Getting to the bottom of a messy problem
5/5

Cooking my first beer can chicken directly on the can in a roasting pan was my first experience with this method. After trying to remove a hot bird from the oven, everything went well until I lifted it out. This caused it to be tipsy since it was upright. I ended up covered in hot juices and I had to clean up the oven, the floor, and myself. In order to roast a chicken upright, this device stabilizes the can. The can is positioned in the center of the brace when using this This is chicken. Through the cooking process, the beer can, brace, and roasting pan all remain in place and are transferred to the cutting board. These advantages make it well worth the modest cost.

Put the icing on your roast chicken with this easy recipe
5/5

It's so cool to have a chicken rack made out of beer cans. Despite using the rack I used to make excellent roast chicken before, but having it on a rack has taken it to a new I found this to be my best work. A crispy skin and a juicy, juicy, juicy result. After I sipped a few sips of the beer, I shoved about six or seven garlic cloves into the can before placing the well-seasoned bird inside. I love it so much!.

A very well-made product
5/5

The price is nice and the quality is very good. The price is nice. After reading some information about heath concerns and the effectiveness of using beer cans in it, I don't use a beer can in it anymore. However the stand still works great.
