My goal was to find a big spatula that was not too expensive so I could smash burgers. It turns out the white part in the middle is a hole I didn't notice, and I thought it was a design. There is no way to smash burgers with this, the meat will fall.

You could use it to cook burgers, pancakes, hashbrowns, omelets, and a lot of other foods on a flattop grill. There are holes in the middle of the spatula shaped like the emblem of Blackstone which I hate. In order to make a smash burger, the hamburger has to get stuck in the Blackstone emblem. I think it will last a long time and it's huge! It's well made and it looks like it will last a long time! So much so that it is almost comical. Neither I nor anything I can imagine cooking would require something this big, but it does the job well for what it's intended for. If I had to buy it again, I would.

Exactly the right amount of balance. This spatula is very heavy duty and large. This is a great product for cooking large amounts of food as well as turning large amounts of food. A plate of fried rice or scrambled eggs is a good choice. This spatula only has one complaint the flame design has been cut through. The task of cleaning becomes more difficult than it should It would definitely be a 5 star spatula if the manufacturer did not include this.

Ok, so I guess. . Do they need to imprint the logo on the spatula in such an obnoxiously large manner? I am extremely inconvenienced by this. We tried making smash burgers with this, but even with wax paper, the ground beef did not make it through and caused the patties to stick. Burgers are great when they're smashed. The purpose for which it was purchased was to It has a solid and rigid build, which allows it to smash burgers without much flexing. A good smash can also be achieved without a lot of 'squeeze out' if the surface area of the plate is adequate. When removing the griddle from the griddle or flipping it over, rigidity also plays a role. It gets right under the burger and scrapes everything down to the griddle from there. My kitchen is too big for it, but I think it would work well for our outdoor grill. (This item will not fit into a skillet. Looks well made and is of high quality. Once we get the chance to grill outdoors, we'll make good use of it.

Although I have used it only once, I have been grilling for quite a while. I am very impressed with the quality of the spatula. It is really sturdy and sits upright on the grill which is also great so that you won't burn the handle and you can keep it on the flat surface. My favorite thing about it is that it's wide. There is a significant difference between having a massive spatula that is large enough for you to swipe once at the burger and then pick it up compared to those smaller/thinner spatulas that you have to begin working your way around to pick up and flip. I would highly recommend it.
