There are 17 inches between them
It doesn't take that much grasping and hand strength to do. As a result, I use my husband's bar-code reader As opposed to my regular tongs, I use Q tongs all the time. The opening is great, but the closing is not difficult.
A diameter of 16 to 20 inches is recommended. Their convenience and ability to grip food well makes them easy to use. My strong recommendation is to use
Having put my dishwasher through 20 or more times, I have worn out mine. Moreover, I have not found a better set of tongs in any other set that My opinion is that this is an excellent product.

With a length of 18 inches, it's a heavy duty piece that's nice to use There is nothing worse than roasting your fingers and arms. According to my assessment, the spring action would be of a medium strength. It would open nicely and not be so hard to close again. There is a lock at the grip end of the tongs, and in order to lock it to the "closed" position, you need to pull the hanging hook outward from the end grip area, so it is not a one-handed lock. If the tongs are already in their closed position, all you have to do is push the end all the way through to open them up to do so, you could do it with one hand. The large ring on the end makes it easy to hang on as well. You can clean these very easily since they are dishwasher safe. You can use it to pick up small as well as large objects. The stainless steel construction of these tools is solid and they are well made. When the tools you are using feel good in your hands, you know, "LETS GO" and let the grillin' begin.
In fact, Weber has always stood behind their products and I own a 10 year old Weber Summit that they have replaced all the pitted handles and sent me new burners and flavor bars so I would imagine they'd send a new spring with my new tongs, too! The only problem with the Weber Tongs is they won't fit in any kitchen cabinet drawer because they are 18" long however, I have one of those hanging pot racks that you can hang them on and they look great! My name is I and I am happy to approve this message.
They are solid, heavy duty, and well made. These will stand the test of time, and I am confident I will use them for at least 7 years. There are about one or two grills in my home In general, their use and abuse result from being used and abused two to three times a week. A classic that shows no sign of fading away.
A sturdy object that would keep my hands away from the grill's very hot surface was what I needed Tongs like these achieve that exact goal. On a really hot grill, this length is perfect for searing steaks and vegetables, but I wish Weber would have paid a little more attention to the opening and closing Webert has chosen to go with a very traditional open/close mechanism that is very flimsy and tends to get stuck when trying to force it open or close rapidly. It may be necessary to put in place a more substantial mechanism to resolve this issue.
Metal reaches all the way to the top of the arms on this set. In contrast, the KitchenAid was not, and it snapped in the middle of using it. The tongs have metal all the way to the top of the hinge!.
Tongs were too big and the spring was so tight that I had difficulty using them. I needed a new set because my old tongs were too large and the spring too tight. The word manly was indeed used. They looked like they could work for a woman with smaller hands, so I was hopeful. I agree! There is no doubt that Weber is aware that women do barbeque This set of tongs is made of sturdy steel and are just the right weight. You will like them if you are a woman, but they are also great for men! Weber, you did a great job!.
It's true I use propane and charcoal in combination sometimes and do not want to use tongs for raw foods vs cooked foods. A tooth is on the end of these. In the previous version of these, the grip was located at You can flip over chicken or steak with this one because it has more grip. Buying this was a great decision.
Grilling is my husband's favorite activity, and currently he is using his last tongs. In the stores, it was difficult to find a nice pair by themselves and not as It was just the tongs that we needed, not the rest.
This is what he said after using the product for the first time.
The handle held up well. Unlike other springs he has had, this one was not too hard and didn't pinch him. In all his banging, he does not dent or mess up the grill's alignment, although the coals are banging the side of it. In the event that any of these changes, I will edit my review.
